Shad Brake Light Kit - D0B40KL

Easy fit and sits flush and solid.

I brought this because I liked the idea of it fitting the contours of the topbox plate. It does, albeit I'm sure they could have made it flusher to save a 3mm gap, but that's picky. Also picky, it would be nice for the sales image to show that it is clear plastic, not red, it doesnt make much difference, but nice to know what you are getting.

But the main issue is, why didn't they integrate a side light. This is BRAKE LIGHT ONLY. So just be aware. I'd have happily paid £5 more for side lights integrated too.

As it is, there is lots of empty space either side of the LEDs in the centre, so for £4 I have added LED strips either side of the brake light and made it into what I think is should be.

I am happy with my end result, I'm not calling this a bad product at all! Just, it could have been better.

BMW F800R. Would have had to move the rack base plate back further, and modify fixing, as did not fit. Chose instead to mount directly to bottom of the top box, nice fit. Just means making a suitable electrical connection under the seat, so it can be unplugged when you need to remove box.
