Wet weather gear that works

Bought on Monday used on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Brilliant kit, kept my lower half completely dry whilst navigating Nth to Sth around the M25 and back two days in a row. Both days with torrential rain, at speed and occasional filtering (it is the M25) these water proofs kept me dry and helped to keep me warm.
Used plastic bag over boot trick to help slide on, as the liner will likely snag on the boots.
Need to be careful to stop the zip snagging on the flap but that happens to all zips on thin material.
Light weight and easy to pack.
just from those two days these were definately worth buying.... nothing worse than turning up to a site inspection wet/damp and having to walk around like that all day and then get back into cold damp/wet gear to go home. These waterproof kept me completely dry.
Can't comment on longevity as only used them 'in action' 4 times so far.

They do the job

Had a ride in very wet and stormy weather yesterday, this was the first time I used the covers and they kept me dry.
I hope the seams will hold for future rides, as the material feels a bit weak, but all good for now, I'm just glad my crotch were dry when I got to work.

Bought these with the opinion that full length zips would be an advantage in donning with boots on, this was proven correct but the way the yellow gusset has been sewn into the leggings makes it easy for the material to get caught in the zip putting a finger up inside the zip doesn't help and results in multiple snags both on closure and opening to the extent I leave them open all the time which results in them flapping around in the wind.
A good concept but badly designed.
Would not buy again.

The full length zips are great for getting on over boots, they do stick so you need to be careful opening and closing. Velcro around the ankle to prevent water ingress. Size and length are good. Lined as well which helps reduce sweat. Lots of features for a very reasonable price.

I wore them for the 1st time on a recent day trip around Anglesey in mainly windy, wet weather and the trousers did the job admirably, keeping me dry throughout. The full length zips make it so easy to put them on over boots and they are lined which for me is a bonus. They are also pretty compact when folded and bagged. Bear in mind they don't come with their own bag.

Zips are annoying

The quality of the trousers seems really good although I didn't get to use them out in the real world as I sent them back. The reason was that when I tried them on the zips caught on both sides and then kept catching every time I tried to open or close them. No matter what I did they caught every time. This just really annoyed me. Such a shame as they do look great.

Very pleased with these waterproof over trousers from Oxford. I'm 6'2', 32" waist 34" leg and ordered XL and they with over my Oxford motorcycle jeans well. The full length zips make themneaybtobgetbonnamsnoffbover my boots and the high viz bits are nice touch.

This is the second pair of these waterproof over trousers I have had and not only are they waterproof but are lined and therefore nice and warm. Oversizing is perfect. Recommended without a seconds hesitation.

Great product, worth the price

I was looking for something simple that wouldn't break the bank and be there 'just in case' to put on the over the top and these fit the bill. Don't think of them as a cheap alternative, we don't all need or want tailored waterproof suits but these fit better than you might think and fit true to size. Very happy with them.

So far so good, was initially a bit worried about the length with me being a short leg, but not a problem once on and with boots. Got their first major test with storm babet and held up great, no wet crotch to speak of so a great buy.

Perfect to just stash away on the bike for those occasions when you get caught out. Plenty big enough to put over the top of whatever you are wearing WITHOUT going up a size. I bought a Medium and they're more than generous.
