Rukka Nivala Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Black

Decided to take the plunge after getting a great deal on black Friday.
Expensive? Yes however very comfortable, warm and bone dry.
Top drawer protection and materials.
After wearing quality goretex liner jackets I've had enough of them 'wetting out ' in heavy prolong rain resulting in cold heavy jacket which takes forever to dry.
The Rukka Pro laminate will rectify this and can't wait to get touring.

I've nothing new to add to the already excellent reviews for this jacket. Haven't used on the bike coz of storm weather but it is a quality item and you get what you pay for. Sportsbike shop have been brilliant throughout. In order to get the right sizing I ended up ordering two jackets and three pairs of trousers! Finally I went with a size down than normal in the jacket and same waist but a short length for the trousers - I'm a 32 leg for everything else so a bit of a surprise. Hope this helps if u r thinking of buying.

This is amazing to wear, feels light buT safe, I've had many other jackets including A belstaff and this by far is the most safe and comfortable.
Size is spot on.

Well this purchase was 3 months in the making and lots of sleepless nights trying to justify the outlay but after trying on various other options and makes it became clear that this is a superb jacket fabrics used and armour size and quality used is top notch I've not looked back since riding in it just so comfy and safe feeling the price is high but try one on and you'll want to own it

I tried this and a Klim jacket. This jacket fitted far better and as it's Rukka the quality, backed by a six year warrantee made this the option for me. It's a bit of a faff to put on, however when on it feels perfect with no flapping or draughts. I travelled to Boston and wore the suit back (218 miles) through some wind and rain. I'm happy to say that I stayed warm and dry.

6 day trip Wales in October, loads of heavy rain. Jacket and trousers excellent, glad I paid the extra money.

Having tried on most of the other jackets in SBS Leeds I kept coming back to this one. I wanted a new suit that would work well all year round. This jacket was so comfortable and had all the protection that I was after. I have worn it in 30 C and can say that for me the vents worked great. When moving on the bike it felt I was wearing a T-shirt! I haven't been able to test it in heavy rain yet but I'm sure time will tell and it does help having a 6 year warranty.
Overall I am so impressed with this jacket, it is a very sizeable investment but in my opinion it's worth the money. I also bought the matching trousers.
Like many have said before, my only regret is not buying this sooner.

Very pleased. Used this for a 12 hour bloodbiking day when the weather changed between 21 degrees and sunny and thundery downpours. Delighted that I stayed dry. Wanted ones of these for ages and I am very pleased with it.

I have only used the jacket twice, on quite a warm days (and with no rain), but the jacket was suitably cool and despite the amount of armour very comfortable, the various adjustments make it easy to fit and be comfortable on the bike.

This jacket fits me well, even if you have longer arms the sleeves are not too short. Pricey but high quality.

I bought the trousers to go also great kit great service easy to return for free if they don't fit, the jacket is warm and the jacket liner is excellent been out for a few runs up the Scottish mountains can be a bit nippy this time of year but the jacket and trousers kept me warm, not tried them in the rain yet, expensive but you get what you pay for am afraid

Surprisingly light, unrestrictive and comfortable. Perfect!

10/10 fantastic jacket... you only get what you pay for.
i tried it out with the trousers in torrential rain for about 20 miles and it performed admirably, bone dry and warm.well worth the money.
