RST IOM TT Classic Wax 3/4 CE Textile Jacket - Black

Jacket is a great fit, fairly warm and so far has kept me dry on my short commute. If you're planning a long ride, or the temperature is below 10° you'll probably want a thicker layer on underneath. As always fast delivery from sportsbikeshop.

Fancied something different from the norm and this is it.on/off the bike comfort and style. Should have the back protectors included is my only niggle.

It looks great and with a detachable lining it seems good value for money. But I am afraid I didn't even get to try it on for a good fit . The 4th press stud came away in the process of being undone. It's been returned. I may just have been unlucky.

A very comfortable great fitting ,well made jacket true to size,( large) for me straight out of the bag.looks good enough to wear off the bike as well. There should be.instructions as to keeping the jacket water resistant as it ages. Removable armour is hardly noticable on and off the bike.Very happy with my purchase and highly recommended.

Even though it's a waxed jacket, it's not like the old belstaffs that were really waxy.
Seems to be well made, quilted inner has a nice touch on the cuffs as its zipped to the cuff not just a velcro or popper as the norm.
I'd recommend this jacket as an alternative to a belstaff /Barbour,

I had seen the jacket before at the TT and liked it, but didn't need it for on the bike, but was a bit pricey for a casual all round jacket. The temptation became too great with a great online offer.

As we are in lockdown and the weather has been consistently warm to hot and dry, I've not had any chance to wear it.

The jacket seems to be well made and versatile with the thin but removable liner and the armour came out without a fight like some gear.

Use the size guide provided. I went for XXL instead of my usual XL and it was the right choice.

I look forward to getting some use out of it.

Been caught twice in heavy rain and so far no water has come through. Nice and warm and plenty of padding. Great buy.

This jacket from RST is a great looking jacket and that's just on the hanger! Sizing is good and its fitted with good quality elbow and shoulder protection. Overall seems well put together and good quality. Have had chance yet to test how waterproof it is but a great retro type bike jacket and looks so good you could even just rock up at the pub in it. Recommend defo!

I ordered the correct size, and it sizes sharp, perfect without the inner layer, I could wear a thin pullover under it.

I already own a good quality leather jacket and wanted something comfortable, to wear on my ride to work on days when rain threatens. The manufacturer doesn't actually claim that this jacket is waterproof, but being waxed cotton it certainly should have a good level of water resistance and on the one occasion I have ridden a reasonable distance in light rain, it did it's job well.
The jacket is very comfortable to wear and included armour, which was option before this year, is a useful addition. The only issues I have with the jacket are that the belt feels rather cheap and flimsy and it could do with being an inch or two longer. I went a size up on my normal size but still found that, although the fit elsewhere was fine, the jacket is a little shorter than I hoped for a 3/4 length jacket and the belt sits too high on the body. Apart from this, I'm reasonably happy with this jacket.
