Works well easy to connect and easy to use.

The Velcro that comes with this is a waste. I used some heavy duty all weather Velcro to make sure this sticks to the bike. When I removed the controller from the box the cover plate fell off exposing the internal electronics. I probably should have returned it; but, it worked as advertised so I just re-attached the cover plate using a good waterproof sealant. It could be an excellent rating but there were some quality control issues.

Bought this at same time as dual controller based on what other reviewers said about being unable to use controller on the move. As it turns out, in my particular scenario, it isn't actually required. However, I shall probably stick it somewhere on the tank and put it to use. Did try it to check operation and found it does work and would be very useful if access to dual controller was difficult or inconvenient. Like the controller itself, the remote is easy enough to use with gloves on and since it can be placed almost anywhere will add "convenience" to my set-up. Only real "gripe" is that the remote doesn't display any numeric heat settings so you need to remember was setting you were on before adjusting up or down. Not a big issue but display would help. A useful bit of kit that works as it should!

I would have rated this 'excellent' but as this product has been replaced. The newer version fixes all of the noted issues such as adding positive clicks when dialling up and down, better markings etc. If in doubt, the black version is the newer one. This one stills works fine but is a bit less user friendly.

The fastening on both versions leaves a lot to be desired, velcro is just not robust enough in my view - I upgraded to a magnetic attachment by glueing on some bits I had left over from a sat nav system and it feels much less likely to fall off since that change!

If you do change it, don't glue bits to the side that houses the battery compartment as this need to remain accessible for battery replacement.

Overall the product is a very useful upgrade to the standard controllers as you can quickly and safely adjust temperature whilst on the move.

Note that after the initial pairing, this remote STAYS paired which is a great feature, and it remembers the last temperature setting and will always revert to that UNLESS you have changed the settings on the remote, in which case they will override the current settings once you connect.

Great piece of kit when connected to your controller.

No messing about trying to press buttons with your gloves on, mount it on your handlebars or arm and control your clothing with ease.

Really handy. I mounted mine on top of the clutch reservoir with the supplied Velcro. Thought there could have been a bit more Velcro but no probs. Would have been nice to have numbers showing the heat level relating to the dual controller. I find myself turning the knobs and waiting to feel the resultant heat. I'd say you def need this item if you own a dual controller and want to keep the controller tucked away in your pocket, which you prob will considering the amount of wires from it. Overall a very practical and useful item.
