Takes the worry out of running accessories from your on board battery as the timer/power monitoring will ensure you don't drain your battery. Not very pretty but Optimate is a brand I trust. I couldn't gauge what sort of size it might be from the images but gladly it is quite small. Note this does not fit a traditional cigarette lighter socket (as VFR800, 2016 on), only the more modern din socket. Lastly, the unit has a very useful 'tell-tale' blue illumination to let you know when it is in charging/powering mode.

Good product. I have to be a bit careful with positioning on my bike (a Multistrada 950) as it can snag on the cables, but once fixed in a good position, it works well.

Great product and well built. With its automatic switching on and offf feature prevents the risk of overcharging on those longer rides.

Could be a little smaller to aid positioning on my bike (me being fussy) and may price most people out of the market, although I pleased with it.

Well made device with what looks like good seals.
Couldn't test fully as the shape and size of the charger meant it would have fouled the steering on my new Tiger 900 gt. Think this is a design issue with the Triumph rather than the optimate.

I bought this to use on my BMW f750gs. Works perfectly. Blue light shows it is and when engine is off turns off when battery drops power.
Good size and unobtrusive.
Came with a free cable.
Great price from SBS & a reliable brand.

I bought this to work from the Din plug on my 800 Tiger. Fits nice and snug charges my IPhone seamlessly, The charging stops automatically once the engine is off to prevent drain ( Din is a live feed) I would recommend as I've used other products with less success
