Verified Customer Reviews for Oxford Heated Advanced Hot Grips
Customers were generally satisfied with the heated grips, highlighting their excellent performance, ease of installation, and high-quality materials. They appreciated the warmth provided, even in colder conditions. Some mentioned needing minor adjustments during fitting, like modifying throttle tubes or controller mounts. Overall, they found the installation process straightforward with clear instructions. The grips' aesthetics were noted positively, fitting well with various bike styles. Minor cons included controller appearance and cabling length issues. Despite these, the positive impact on riding comfort and performance made them highly recommended by customers.
Fitted them to my Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, they're great, easy to fit and work really well, no more bulky gloves.
As usual, easily fitted and work a treat. This pair fitted to my Guzzi V9 Roamer. Retro style looks just right. Had to do a bit of work on the throttle grip to make the hot grip fit, but that wasn't really a big deal. Highly recommended.
I have not fitted them yet but expect them to be as effective as those I have on another bike.
Bought for a new bike already have the sport ones fitted on my MT09.
The only difference u can see between them is the pattern of the grips.
However they work fantastically and are very hot.
The only issue I have with them is the controller is really ugly and as it just sits there it looks out of place
But cannot fault the heated grips they are amazing, as was the service as usual from SBS
The grips are now installed on my 2015 Royal Enfield Classic 500 EFI. They went on easily, (about 30 - 45 minutes, by myself). If you're going to put them on a current RE bike ( Bullet, Himalayan, Interceptor), look at the YouTube videos first as there is some slight modification needed to the sleeve on the Throttle side. (no modification to the grips) That being said, they work as advertised and are a great addition as the weather cools down. The YouTube video and the instructions that come with the grips are quite clear and more than adequate for the average bike fettler. As usual the service from SportsbikeShop was excellent and prompt.
Perfect grips for my crf. No need to cut them at all, plenty of grip, and best value out of the range too.
Oxford heated grips, do as they say on the box!
Perfect fit on my classic Honda. Too warm to use as yet but I'm expecting them to perform as well as the other Oxford heated grips I have on my other motorbikes.
Reliable and extremely useful product for year round riders like me or any1 who doesn't enjoy chilly hands.
SBS delivery in SUPER-QUICK time. The advice I get in general from the lovely CS team is undoubtedly THE BEST!
Fantastic price too!!
They work well. Easy to fit. They switch off when you turn off so you don't run your battery down.
Just a bit too short for my 2012 Bonneville. Nice grip though
These grips, are the hottest ive ever fitted. I had to turn them down to the lowest setting! Easy to fit, and a nice grip on my retro classic.
Feel really good quality grips, heat really well and evenly, the only slight niggle is that they appear a bit short on my bars. Overally really good though.
First time I have used hot grips, they where straight forward to fit. when I used them for the first I set off with them on 100% and my hands where to hot within minutes of setting off, lowered them to 75% then 50% then on to the lowest setting of all 30% I was out for 1.75hrs and my hand stayed nice and warm throughout the ride. I really like the criss/cross pattern on the grips and they are very comfortable as well. Great price and service from SPORTSBIKESHOP
Easy to fit and very well made. They work very well and get very hot. I have them on about 30%
I bought these as a replacement for the Daytona heated grips that were fitted to my TDM900. The old grips were made of a harder material and had worn to a point where they were more slippy than grippy.
These Oxford Advanced jobs have restored my grip on my handlebars, if not reality! They come with everything you need including detailed fitting instructions. I wired mine into directly into the main loom rather than the battery which made it a little more involved, but honestly they're dead easy to put on if you've a modicum of common sense and a little understanding of your bike's electricals. Note, the TDM is a conventional rather than canbus electrical system.
I'm certain they'll do a great job of keeping my hands warm on chillier rides but with the hot weather we've been having recently I haven't been able to test the heating properties in cold temperatures.
There are nine levels of warming from 30% to 100% which should make them useful in borderline conditions.
Importantly, the grips are actually grippy making for a much smoother throttle control than my old ones.
Easy to fit and work a treat
Bought these for my chilly night time return from work, absolutely brilliant accessory to have. Makes a world of difference, easy to fit and a great price to boot. As always, brilliant service from start to finish.
Must admit I was sceptical to the whole heat grips....do I really need then! Yes dont think.id have a bike without now! Excellent product well made and super easy to fit! Modified the controller mount but that was down to personal preference for location!
Delivery was prompt. Product looks good and good quality. Havent fitted yet. But researched these and they have great write ups.
Good product. Fitted without too much difficulty. Work really well. Even on warmer days on a low setting it makes a difference to comfort.
Oxford Heated Advanced Hot Grips - Retro
- Weatherproof construction
- Nine heat settings
- Intelligent heat setting memory
- Battery saving mode
- Optimised tread pattern
- Simple installation
The Oxford Advanced HotGrips feature 9 heat settings to give increased control for the perfect operating temperature with LED lights to indicate the level. The intelligent heat setting memory function stores the previous heat setting and defaults to this at power up, saving time when in regular use. The heat controller uses a sealed-for-life welded case construction for long term durability and weather proofing along with weather proof power connectors to further protect the HotGrips against the elements. The battery saving mode protects against flat batteries. If you forget to turn the switch off, it will do it for you. If the engine is switched off, the grips will automatically turn off until enough power is available. This eliminates the need for the user to buy and fit relays. The grips have ergonomically engineered surface structures to optimise riding performance. Thicker rubber in areas of maximum wear ensure high levels of grip and vibration absorption. Thanks to their unique expandable design and fool proof wiring loom, HotGrips are extremely easy to fit. Connection to the motorcycle could not be simpler. Simply connect the two ring connectors to the battery.
