Givi SR2129 Rear Rack - Yamaha MT-10 (16-21)

Very happy with the product I ordered, even though I ordered it when the whole country was shut down with the corona virus it still came within plenty of time. The product itself was finished to a high standard and easy to fit. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be ordering from sportsbikeshop again when needing anything for my biking needs.

This is a great item for the MT10.

My fear was it was going to be a pain to fit with the already installed Yamaha Touring Bag Rack. However straight fit.
Robust and looks great.

The offcial Yamaha rack costs around £300 so this Givi one is a real bargain. Admittedly, you have to buy a top plate seperately - this rack is just the two side plates to which the top plate bolts (ignore the pictures!) - but the whole kit still works out far cheaper than buying the factory set-up.
And once you've bought the rack and plate, you have a whole world of Givi top boxes and other kit to choose from - either new or from the loads of used Givi stuff for sale on-line; have a look how many Yamaha branded top boxes are for sale and, if you can find one, how much they are.
Just a tip for MT10 owners. If you have the Yamaha panniers fitted, you can make this rack fit with them - you just need to grind/cut a small section out of the rack where it meets the pannier frame, then use slightly shorter spacers (20mm) which can be bought cheaply on-line.
Otherwise, the rack comes with everything you need to install it, fits perfectly and is well up to the usual Givi quality, being solid and well-finished. Very pleased!
