Givi PL1144CAM Tubular Monokey Cam-Side Pannier Holders - Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin

Good solid bars as you'd expect from Givi. Easily assembled and bike mods are easy to do.

However, as is often the case with Givi instructions, they are a little unclear on places. You need to drill through under the pillion seat, that's somewhat clear. What isn't however is whether the metal flanged washer from the bike has to be removed or not.

Figment trials proved that it had to be removed however, that then results in bolting down onto an unremovable rubber flange below. That compresses whilst torquing the bolt and eventually you can't get a spanner/socket onto it.

Some clarity on this needs adding. Or longer bolts supplying so the metal flange washer can stay in situ as this seems more secure.

I'm likely to buy new longer bolts myself as a result and would probably recommend the same.

The Givi racks are fantastic, they are fairly easy to attach (as long as you make sure you have the tools you need before hand and not take all day as you need to keep running to the shop to buy them like me and my boyfriend did) and they are very sturdy when on. No worries of them ever coming loose.

Arrived scuffed but sorted quickly by SBS. Solid item, requires 20mm hole saw to cut through plastic under seat liner but in place now and very stable, highly recommended.
