Oxford Replacement Hot Grip Advanced - Touring

Tried the grip dry as per instructions, realised it was a little too long as the end weight was pushing against it preventing throttle closure. I then cut it shorter as instructed, sometimes you should throw instructions away, as the cut end was rubbish. I then thought I will get another one from Sportsbikeshop, but this time just put a washer or two under the bar end. Sorted! The sales person was great, he checked on the plug fittings for me, then rang me back to say they were the latest screw ends, perfect. Thanks Sportbikeshop, my grips look great

The connectors are different to my current grips as other reviewers have stated. In the installation on my bike the length of the cables is marginal so I didn't want to cut the connector off and fit the old connector on. I'll be returning the parts to the excellent Sportsbikeshop who are always so good with returns.

Bought this grip to replace original left hand Oxford grip which had stopped working. Removing the old one is a bit of a pain as it is glued on eventually cut it off. The new one has no glue supplied so you will need gorilla glue or the like. Also for me the grip was for a new model so had different connections, easily resolved by cutting off and changing. Heats up well and keeps hands warm already tested, recommended but no nowhere near as neat as bike OEM fitted grips.
