This is the same as the slightly more expensive Givi version. Considering the issue with vibration damaging smartphones, the idea that this is a well padded holder seems perfect. Plus it will accommodate different sized phones (useful as I have my own plus a work phone). The downside is that is large. While the clamp is really good there are not many places it will actually fit due to its size without obscuring or fouling (and remaining visible at the right angle). The first time it rained, the inside of the plastic partially misted up which obscures the display.
Made good and solid, as well as easy to install too, but screen film can glare on the bright sun and make you phone screen blind or fade.
Quality product very easy to assemble fits my iPhone 8 Plus no problem would highly recommend it
Good value item. Easy to fit and quite adaptable for different phones. Works fine. Phone being enclosed provides some protection.
Drawbacks are in sunshine screen can be hard to see as sun reflects off plastic cover. Also needs another cover (which is included t9 make waterproof, but then difficult to use.
Generally good for the price.
Used this piece of kit on a recent journey to the Isle of Man. Works well enough in the dry but in the wet with the waterproof cover on, it was about as much use as a pocket in your underpants. Couldn't see a thing through the cover, it totally mists up. Touch screen works with a heavy push but you would expect this pushing on fairly heavy plastic. Dry weather use only, so a bit limited.
The quick-release is amazing and the construction is really solid. Waterproof cover easily fits in the back and is easy to put on if it starts chucking it down. Charger fits in snugly too and the screen is easy to interact with. I like the hood too, although I've not had a chance to test its effectiveness.

The KS957B is the perfect solution for transferring your smartphone to your motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, quad etc. The mounting system is compatible with tubular bars with diameters between 8mm and 35mm and has the ability to wrap around items that are not perfectly round. October 29, 2018The inner dimensions of the smartphone holder are 81x160mm. A Samsung J3 measures 143.2mm x 70.3mm and so should fit.
