Great item, easy to install. R&G is a trusted quality brand so chose these instead of cheap alternatives. The bike is on a stand at al times in the garage so wanted some that would work well and last.

I needed bobbins to fit to the bike so I could use my paddock stand. These match the rest of the protection on the bike and I trust them not to snap like some of the cheap imitations. Make cleaning the chain and changing the tyre so much easier.

R&G Racing M8 Cotton Reels - Kawasaki Z900
R&G Racing cotton reels are oversize paddock stand bobbins which screw into the paddock stand holes in your swingarm. They offer the dual purpose of protecting your swingarm and enabling the bike to be lifted on a rear stand. Check out their paddock stand hooks, which are compatible with many paddock stands. The Cotton Reel is mounted to a special, black-anodised stainless steel bracket (included with the kit). The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the Cotton Reels using a paddock stand with hooks.
