The Kriega EDC messenger bag is a great bit of kit. I use it on the bike to carry all the usual stuff I try and fit in my pockets. Plus I can take my tablet with me. I have quite a bit of Kriega stuff, it's all top quality.

Tough looking man bag

Ultimately it's expensive for what it is, but then it's a Kriega bag which will never wear out. The question is whether anyone really needs a bag that will last a lifetime.
It's built like a tank and heavy, but once on the shoulder the weight vanishes. It's comfortable even without the waist strap. The adjuster is easy to use.
If I had to have a moan, it isn't that easy to access in the fly and there is a risk of items escaping if you use it in that way.
It does hold a surprising amount, but it still doesn't hold a lot, but then a big heavy bag is not something to be carried like that.
All in all I like it.

I purchased this smaller bag because the larger messenger bag I have fills up the whole of the top box on my bike. The usual Kriega high build quality. Plenty of pockets. Takes a tablet computer but not my laptop.Not ridden wearing it on the bike yet but managed fine with the larger one so this smaller one should be a doddle. Pricey, but worth it.

This bag is fantastic. Very comfortable to wear on the bike. I can fit everything I need in it and then some. It will fit in an ipad, diary, notepad, deodorant, phone, wallet and keys.

Top Quality Bag

I wanted a small bag that would carry my every day carry and include my small laptop. The bag delivers in every respect. The rubberised back stops the bag moving about. The quality is excellent. My laptop is a 13inch and fits snug into the back pocket. Top bag.

All good for the bag but it seems it is impossible to position such that the strap doesn't end up cutting into your neck. Tried different loads and positions but no difference. Seems it needs a third strap to pull the main diagonally. Not the usual Kriega quality.

Can this messenger bag connect to the US-5 as well?
December 5, 2024We would not recommend attaching the messenger bags or backpacks to the bike via a tail bag, as they have not been tested for this use. It is possible to do it the other way around though and attach the US pack onto the messenger bags.
