Very useful way to tidy wires away
16 October 2023 by Desmond P
I bought this due to issues with wiring completed by a previous owner causing issues with the canbus not switching off. This item is perfect as up to 30 amps can be put here covering 6 items governed by a canbus ready switch wire activation. No negatives other than the wiring has to be neat otherwise you will struggle getting all 6 items connected in the smallish space.

Denali PowerHub 2

I ordered the Denali PowerHub 2 from Sportsbikeshop because of the fantastic price, it did take a while to arrive due to being on back order which was communicated to me.
When the parcel arrived it had been ripped open exposing all of the contents, not the best packaging in the world and I'm hoping we don't have any parts missing, DPD not the finest parcel you've delivered nor did you attempt to tape up this parcel.

Wouldn't go anywhere else
15 February 2023 by James M
I ordered the powerhub 2 from sportsbikeshop at a better price than anywhere else which was a bonus. The delivery was as always up to the usual excellent standard with great communication throughout.
The powerhub 2 quality speaks for itself and proves to be an excellent piece of kit.

Power Hub
28 January 2022 by Phil
Fitment was simple with connection straight to battery, secured unit under seat, two elastic straps hold top on, would be better if it clipped down. No fuses come with it, fitment of fuses is tight so good connections made. Like that you can use as a constant or switched live for the accessories connected. Overall good product works well.

Looks good

Appears well made. Instructions are clear. Please note the size of the box as available space to locate on a motorcycle can be problematic.

Power hub - No problem
03 February 2021 by Charlie G
Excellent arrived very quickly but anything from the Sportsbike Shop always does. Easy to install with very good fitting instructions. I think it might be worth pointing out that you will need the fuses to make it operational, it is a bit of a nuisance if you go to fit it and then have to get the fuses. Good construction and quality parts.

Wot no fuses
11 December 2020 by Bryan
Nice bit of kit but, they could have put a selection of fuses in with it for starters, not everbody knows there are different sizes,
also I agree with anonymous, the lid is not waterproof and where the cables go into the box it's a large space, maybe a larger rubber flap?Sorry to pick flys, but water and electric dont play well together. It still works well maybe the mk3 will be better.

Just the job
03 December 2020 by Anthony T
Brilliant idea, cuts down on cables and stops all the wires going direct to the battery. Tapped in to the rear brake light of my r1200gs 2005 so all my auxiliary fittings, fog lights, USB, satnav only take power when the ignition is on. I've also connected a power lead to this box that allows me to plug in the charger. This is set to constant live by crossing the fuse to constant live operation in the box. I would only have one gripe, the inlet hole is a little on the small side. Other than that. Brilliant idea.

Power hub 2 kit
12 October 2020 by Anonymous
Really good bit of kit.

Easy install and offers the ability to switched or constant. I have 4 to 5 accessories plugged into switch position and box tidy's up the wiring for a smart professional finish.

Down side for me was the price, each to their own but for me was well worth it.

I now have a bike which when turned off, turns off all the accessories so very happy and my battery loves it.

DENALI POWERHUB

Very easy to set up and 'forget'. Everything has been designed to help anyone with the minimum amount of knowledge to plumb it it easily, All you have to do is decide where you want to fix it. There is no 'delay until start' incorporated which initially was a must for me until I researched, but was advised that this is unnecessary on modern motorbikes due to that being already incorporated in the electronics of modern bikes. Be careful how you insert the fuses they are very tight, don't bend the individual fuse holders. After a lot of research I seem to have made the right choice.

Works really well

Excellent delivery, even came early. I had some trouble finding fuses to fit it but it turned out that the fuse slots were so tight the blades of the fuses wouldn't go all the way in if at all. After using a small screwdriver to loosen them up the fuses went in ok. Now works well and as expected.

Fitted one easily to my daily driver (G650GS) and its saving a lot of messy wiring as I'm adding accessories. Will be adding one to the tiger later on in the year. And as per normal customer service excellent

Denali PowerHub 2

The power supply cords taking power from the battery are heavy gauge, extra long, very flexible, and heavily insulated. The block has a built in relay, and that's a big space saver. It has provisions for six circuits, any of which can be switched, or hot. It comes with everything you need to complete the installation including ring terminals for the batter hookup and velcro pads to hold it in place.
Yes, the designer had all the right ideas. However, something went wrong when the engineering department got it, because they made some bad choices. First of all, the nicely fitted top is held in place by two thin elastic straps which are bound to fail soon.

Poorly designed with the casing being an after thought. The concept is good but the design & materials used are of poor quality. The cover is only kept in place by elastic bands, there is no way this is remotely water resistant, it may aswell be made from paper.

Great bit of kit
22 May 2018 by Roger R
Just purchased this from Sportsbikeshop. As like many of us I wanted every accessory there was for my bike. Trouble is where does one attach all those wires without overloading the battery terminals. Answer the Dinali Power Hub. All my accessories wires are now neatly attached to the power hub, to either a switched or direct power source. Sportsbikeshop were as usual excellent with their service and delivery. I couldn't recommend the power hub or Sportsbikeshop highly enough. 5 Stars from me.

  • Hi,are all the earths& live connections made within the hub so you dont need seperate earth connections for each accessory just 1 negative& 1 positive from battery to hub & a switched live?

    February 10, 2023

The live and earth connections are made within the hub for the accessories, and just one single connection to the battery for live and the neutral.
