120db made a difference
30 May 2024 by J C
It's just a horn but I discovered that this little horn is a sleeping giant. Quiet and unobtrusive until you press the button and you become a giant on the road. Everybody hears it. I have mine fitted with the original horn still working and use an accessory manager to connect all my electronics. It all works perfectly. It's a solid piece of kit and fits easily to the crash bars using the supplied zip-ties. I did make a bracket for the compressor body to attach to the lower crash bar and the wiring was long enough to go where I needed.

Packs a punch!

Really easy to fit, but note it doesn't come with the required wiring harness. Sounds like a lorry horn. Well built construction.

Best motorcycle horn I've found
11 August 2023 by Simon D
Fitted 2 of these now and will get another for my last bike. They really are the business as long as you can find somewhere to mount it. The combined unit is big. The split unit is better where space is tight. The wiring kit (buy separately) makes installation a lot easier but you will end up having to hide the excess loom.

Plenty loud enough

This is the split version and it was fitted to a Tracer 7 with the horn part just about fitting where the original horn was. The compressor fitted nicely just behind the left fairing after fashioning a small metal hanger bracket.

Sound Bomb - Boom !
22 July 2022 by Richard C
Seems a bit pricey for a horn on a motorcycle but this really is the business. The split version allows a bit more creativity when fitting and managed to hide the whole thing away on a versys 1000.
Made the MoT tester jump out if his skin so you know it does the job.

Giving someone the Horn
21 September 2021 by Shane B
This horn is so loud, I haven't used the horn in anger yet, no doubt I will soon. It sounds like a truck. I told my EKAM advanced motorcycle trainer about it, he wasn't sure what it was. He reaction when I pressed it was priceless. I love it. ❤

Loud just got Louder
25 February 2021 by Darren W
Most motorcycles oem horns are bit embarrassing and basically useless. This denali soundbomb will change everything. It gets attention immediately. It's first and foremost a safety feature. It's simple and lightweight. It's simple to install if you use the wiring that's bought separately. Very happy with purchase.

Denali Split SoundBOMB 120dB Horn
18 February 2021 by Robert C
Decided to go with the split version of denali's Soundbomb horn for my R1250GS because I had already fitted Wunderlich upper crash bars and the compact version would not fit on the lower headstock. The split version allowed mounting both elements of the device directly to the upper crash bars directly under the beak with strong zip ties and 3M tape to stop movement. Connected through the HEXezCAN which was fitted to the bike.
Really loud horn which hopefully will improve my presence to other inattentive road users.
Highly recommended and Sportsbikeshop best price around for this product.

Speak up, it's made me a little deaf!!!
19 November 2020 by James R
You'll have to forgive me if you meet me and I shout a little, I made the mistake of testing this before putting my ear plugs in and I think it's made me a little deaf... 120db is something fierce coming out the front of your bike!
You may think the horn itself is flimsy in your hand as it's just plastic, but it's certainly held up well so far. Just be aware both the horn and compressor unit are BIG bits of kit, so you may need to adapt some form of bracket. As for the cabling, get hold of the relay (sold separately) and you're laughing!

So that's what 120db sounds like!
11 October 2020 by Brian S
I'm almost too embarrassed to press the button. I wanted something effective for my Triumph Bonneville T120, - (yes you guessed it, I am 80 yrs.old,) as the OEM has a really silly squeak.
I bought the Denali Split, as well as the harness fitting kit, as my trembly old fingers might not be up to the job. Searched around for two appropriate places and fitted it in under two hours, it was easier than expected.
Altogether it's just what I wanted, boy, can they hear me coming!

Denali Split SoundBOMB 120dB
15 September 2020 by M L
This really does make your presence felt when you need to use your motorcycle horn. Most OEM horns just don't cut it. I've used this and it helped me avoided a potentially serious accident as I firmly believe the original horn wouldn't have been heard over the noise of the traffic.

AWESOME!!!!!
13 August 2020 by Anonymous
This is a seriously loud horn. All too often, original horns are an embarrassment when you need to sound them in anger. Rest assured with this unit, errant road users will need a change of underwear when you give them a blast of the soundbomb. On previous bikes, I have fitted "loud horns", but nothing compares to this. Travelling at motorway speeds and wearing earplugs under my lid, the horn is still very loud. I found this easy to fit (Honda CBF100) using the additional wire harness. Being a split unit, I was able to fit the compressor under the seat and horn under the fairing. It is a well made piece of kit, straightforward to fit and well worthy of its top star rating

Description
Certain newer BMWs have a single horn connector and are not compatible with this product. Please check your connector before purchase.
The unique design of the Denali Split Dual-Tone SoundBomb horn allows the compressor to be fitted separately to the acoustic unit. This enables mounting on sports bikes (where space is very limited) and on other, smaller bikes where there is limited space to fit the original SoundBomb. The compressor can be mounted up to 3 feet from the acoustic unit, thanks to the hose included in the kit. This means you can tuck the compressor away in the fairing, while still allowing the acoustic unit to give out the full 120dB.
