Scorpion Serket Parallel Full System - Yamaha XSR 900

Thought long about which exhaust to buy this product does what it says quality of workmanship exceeds the description a must buy to enhance any motorcycle

The main reason to get an aftermarket exhaust for the lovely XSR900 was actually the maintenance. I liked the original sound of the OEM pipe, despite it was on the quiet side, the note itself wasn't bad. What is really bad in my opinion is the way the OEM exhaust started looking just after 4000 miles on the clock, despite really careful maintenance and numerous applications of ACF 50, the rust started showing through the black coating and absolutely spoiled the look of the rest of the bike which is in show room condition most of the time. Now stainless steel headers are easier to maintain and with lots of silvery colour details on the bike it fits pretty well in my opinion. All parts of the system are pretty easy to reach when it comes to cleaning, so 5 stars for that!!!
Now the sound, you cannot compare to the OEM, it's not the volume that matters, but the note in my opinion, and the note of Scorpion exhaust on XSR900 is just shexy people, yes yes proper shexy, its aggressive, it pops and burbles when you close the throttle and downshift, the XSR 900 sound matches the way it rides with that exhaust ...
