Good once you get it set up
05 January 2025 by A.e. C
Getting set up is awful instructions are poor and misleading takes hours of persistent fiddling. Once set up it ok and does what its supposed to Spare and unused top button doesnt do anything and no explanation in 'instructions' (now theres a misleading misnomer!

So so remote

It's a bit of an indictment that this thing is necessary, but there's no way you can use the helmet buttons for the Schuberth headset. So what do they (Sena) do? Repeat the same mistake on the handlebar remote. Little tiny recessed buttons..why not make the remote dead easy to use?

SC1 Remote
09 August 2020 by Peter C
This is a total waste of money does not connect easily with the SC4 along with the intercom system this is a total waste me and my other half just had 5 days away and would not connect with her HJC system despite both being top models I would not waste my money on any intercom systems period.

Remote for C4 Pro Helmets
18 June 2020 by Mark W
It does work, it's not brilliant but does save with struggling to find buttons on helmet. For my money it could fit a bit tighter to you're bars, but is still ok. Mine doesn't light up red when you turn it onto is a bit of a guessing at first.
Overall worth the four stars.
Ass usual SBS were excellent. Why would you buy from anywhere else?

A must have addition
16 June 2020 by David B
Got this to support my Schuberth sena comm's as buttons on helmet very fiddly.
This remote should be brilliant BUT expensive for what it is.
Not actually used on a ride yet due to lockdown.

A perfect addition
29 May 2020 by Simon
I recently purchased a Schuberth C4 Pro helmet and SC1 advanced comms set. The remote compliments this setup perfectly as the buttons on the helmet are a bit fiddly to get to. I've got a '17 Suzuki SV650 and it clips onto my left bar leaving my hand more than enough space. The instructions aren't the best for operation, but after a few rides it becomes very familiar. I commute on my bike and being able to take the occasional call, listen to the radio or a playlist on Spotify certainly makes for a more pleasant trip. I can't imagine not having one now!

Control for Controls

Moving your grip away from the handlebar to fidget with the controls are a thing of the past. Why hasn't this been done earlier. Safety aside, it is an amazing addition to an excellent system

Essential addition for helmet communications
17 April 2019 by Alan
I bought this unit as I could never find the helmet buttons to work the comms on my C3Pro system.
Biggest problem for me was that the instruction sheet that was in the box was of little help in getting the remote to pair up to the C4Pro helmet unit.
After a long and frustrating time I eventually downloaded the manual so was only then able to get it to work.
The LED indicator is very dim. Maybe it's just mine that's like that or perhaps that's how they are supposed to be.
The illustration in the little booklet is confusing as it doesn't say what all the buttons are supposed to do. One on my SC1 is not mentioned at all.
I have heated grips on my bike and so the remote is a little bit further out on the handlebars. Reaching the indicator switch is a bit more difficult especially at night trying to reach around the SC1 and heated grip but that's not really the units fault.
Would I buy one again as it's quite expensive? Yes, it's an essential aid to safer riding.

Makes it so much easier to control everything. It is expensive but it is a must have in my opinion.

Does what it says on the tin
31 December 2017 by Catweasle
Nice gadget albeit not cheap but does what it says on the tin and saves you taking your hands off the handlebars and fiddling with the helmet controls.

Excellent

With this remote it is so much easier to operate my helmet audio. The helmet controls are not easy especially with gloves on but with this unit it is easy. You can answer calls change tracks on the music streaming from your phone. Easily fitted and removed when you park.
