Merlin Horizon Outlast Textile Trousers - Ice / Black

Bought both the trousers & jacket. Extremely pleased with both.

I'd give these 5 stars but for the fact you can't remove the waterproof liner. Otherwise, they're great. Very comfy, warm and great value for money.

Great product, Warm and really....really comfortable

At this price I doubt you'll find anything better. It has above average protection, nicely stiched and study.,
However, it's a shame these pants don't have a better way of closing them. There are 2 button but there is no belt or a hook to add extra safety. I had a few showers but nothing major yet, and I stayed completely dry.
Those pants also have a great ventilation system and they are right for my height, I'm 5'6''

Got these in Dec 18 so held off reviewing to give them a fair trial. I got these and the matching jacket (see jacket review for more comprehensive review when published) and I've been thoroughly impressed; they've kept me warm and dry in these winter months riding in -5 degree conditions in sleet, snow and rain on a 45 minute each way daily commute.
Bought them a bit big but with SBS's excellent returns service, swapped them for next size down and they fit great with good adjustment at waist, thighs, calf and ankle.
Also they crash well, with hardly a scuff after being punted off by white van man.
Jacket and trousers combined for the price of a mid-price jacket; no brainer, well constructed, well thought out by a British manufacturer that knows about motorcycling needs... thoroughly recommend them.

Great trousers, lots of time and effort has gone into it's design to keep you warm and dry in the winter months but cool in the summer months. Great value and I bought these to go with my Alpinestars jacket as I felt they were a better option than the Alpinestars trousers.

Quality hi-tec materials (Outlast), evident before using due to weight and quality of materials and finish - option to remove linings and adjustment at waist and ankles. Sizing as per chart but note that leg length is short as stated - size L a good fit for me at 31" leg. Impressed so have ordered matching jacket.
