Held Tenda Tail & Tank Bag - Black

Bought for a rear seat fitting to a Trident 660, fits perfectly with captive straps under the seat to bag.
Just what I needed, and can be removed relatively easily if requred.

What a great find,, I wanted something neat that would complement my bike (R9T) but still be useful, this pack is bang on as it holds enough for day ride outs and can be extended if removing a jacket liner or just needing extra room. Easy to fit remove when not needed and easily taken off its base when leaving bike. Highly recommended.

Won't find a better tail bag if your looking for something sporty, neat, tidy and practical. Great little bag. Got one for a birthday present then a week later bought one for a mate for his 40th.

This is the perfect size to fit on my Honda CB125R and once I had taken the time to locate to the seat pad it's very secure.
I really like it's size, not too big and not too small. Even better that it can be expanded using a zip.
Best feature is that it can just be zipped on and off so a doddle to remove and take with you using the in-built carrying handle or strap.

They say that there is no evident compromise in good design and this bag is almost perfect; the couple of niggles do not detract from the 5 star rating.

I bought this as larger bags tend to get pushed rearwards and slip off the seat as I sit well back being a taller rider. The bag mount is secured to the seat using two adjustable straps crossed under the seat. Depending on what is under your seat affects the fit of any bag and this is no exception. Tightening the straps stretches them across the underneath of the seat and this can have an impact on any storage area there. However, I made a couple of simple brackets utilising existing under-seat threaded holes (Guzzi V7 III) which meant the straps did not then need to pass right across the bike and so leave the storage space clear. The adjustable clips are also hidden away under the seat and not exposed when the bag is unzipped leaving the bag mount in place. This is the second niggle; zipping the two parts together can be a bit fiddly especially when the bag is full; I suspect this will improve with use and practice. Of course, you can mount it on a rack rather than the seat or on the tank. Magnets are available at extra cost. The space between the bag and mount proved useful to carry a small bike lock without encroaching on storage capacity. There is also a zipped pocket underneath the bag which stores a single shoulder strap for carrying off the bike.

The front semi-circular space reveals a waterproof cover and there is a little spare capacity for flat objects but not much. The main compartment is limited by its sloping shape and best used for soft, folding items but when expanded I can easily fit a 500ml metal flask and sandwich box, satnav and phone in there. Another internal pocket can take visor wipes, tissues, papers etc. Storage is not huge but good enough for daily ride-outs.

It has proved weatherproof so far (classed as weatherproof) through showers and I expect it to be fully waterproof with its extra cover (I have a larger Held bag and that is bone-dry when its similar extra cover is deployed).

Appearance wise it looks good on the bike even when expanded and, being small, it doesn't get in the way when throwing your leg over.

I thoroughly recommend this bag.

Looks nice, just awkward to fit right or place securely at the base. Does the job overall.
