Spare Battery Superb Investment

Got this as 2nd Battery to enable wearing the Heated Jacket off the bike when working outside in the Brrrr at Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone. 1-Battery lasts half a day. Bit expensive, but worth having a spare.

Handy spare

Good to have a 2nd battery as a spare to keep one ready for use for extended periods or when you want to use a higher heat. Better than lugging around the bigger battery and fits well into the vest battery holder pocket.

KEIS battery pack

Good quality feel to it, has useful USB connection too (charge mobile etc...). Powers vest and inner gloves for around 1 hour on full heat.
Great for use on and off the bike.
Need to buy charger separately.

Extra battery

Bought this as a back up because I didn't want to be wired up to the bike. I like to stand up to stretch the legs sometimes. batteries are good and simple to use, and the battery power on low is warm enough for me. 2 batteries ample for 5-6 hrs. Fast delivery no muss no fuss as usual from sportsbikeshop

Bought as second battery for Keis vest as they last 4 hours, needed 2 to be at work all day.
Good quality and not too heavy.
A little over priced, especially when you need 2.

Could last longer

Used to power inner gloves, fits perfectly into inside jacket pocket. Only seems to last 2 x return commutes so maybe 100 miles in total, longer would be nice! Not sure if the cable is left attached to the battery but not the gloves if it discharges as it seems to run out even quicker. Cheaper than other brands and does the job.

Big price increase

Got this to power my wife's Keis Vest. She now has two, so there's one on charge and one on the go. It lasts 3 to 4 hours and takes the same time for a full charge.
Not particularly impressed with the £10 price increase since I bought the last one a month ago!
Has a built in USB socket which you could use to charge up your tech on the go, but you'd have to be carrying your USB cable of course.
Overall the Keis heated kit is excellent. But take care to ensure you have ordered everything you need for your requirements, because you'll probably need a heat controller, a charger and a EU to UK adapter for the charger.

Could you state the capacity of this battery please, Is it 2200mAh or 4400mAh?

How long does this take to fully charge, please? It is showing figure 1 and has been on charge for 2 hours now. Do the numbers go up to show it is fully charged?
November 13, 2017When using the Battery Pack for the first time or after an extended storage period, completely discharge the Battery Pack by connecting it to a Keis Heated Garment and leaving connected until the garment is no longer warm to the touch. Once discharged, plug the charger into a mains outlet and connect to the Battery Pack. The initial charge may take up to 4 hours 2200mAh) or 6 hours (4000mAh). Subsequent charges should take around 2 hours (2200mAh) or 3.5 hours (4000mAh) from a total discharged state. The LED on the Charger will show red whilst charging and green when charging is complete.
