Coolmax pants really work

Had to buy these as going touring and found my bike trousers really hot.
They do cool you down and seem to absorb moisture- my legs seemed less sweaty.

Good but...

In terms of doing what they are supposed to do, keep you cool and dry, the pants are very good.
However I have found the fit not so good in the waist area. After a day in the saddle and a few trips to the bathroom (I am over 70 after all!) they had slipped down round my bum uncomfortably.
Whilst I'll admit to a small paunch, I ain't fat by any means. Other base layers I have don't do this.

Really comfortable, size was spot on for me (I'm 6'1 and 13 stone, went for size medium) Did a really good job of keeping me dry on a warm track day! Recommended

Great warm weather base layer

I already have two pairs of these pants, that I mainly use as a base layer when touring in warm climates. They really wick away any moisture and keep you all day comfortable even in 30 degree plus temperatures. I've bought a third pair to save so much washing on long tours!
Difficult to comment on cold weather performance as I use a different EDZ or Zerofit base layer in the cold, but these RSTs are definitely good for three season use.

Bought these to complement the top I bought just completed 10 day trip to Scotland come rain or shine they kept me either cool or warm under my Alpinestars gortex pants. Excellent kit, will now purchase another pair

Great for a hot day

Close fitting but not tight. Sizing is true to normal clothing size. Really makes a difference on warm/hot days and stops that 'sticky' feeling when taking your gear off. Product is well made.

Great base layer

Found these to be a really good base layer under leather or textiles. Already had the RST top, these are all I have needed in recent 20-30 degree heat. Do end up a bit damp in extremes, but way better than previous tees etc. Good value.

Great fit and comfortable

Do what they're suppose to . I wear mine under Rst textile pants and stop me from sweating when off the bike for a coffee and we we break and stop the cold when on the bike in the cooler months

Didn't want to pay the higher £60 category for Alpinestars when these are such a great quality. You don't want to take them off after so comfortable and clearly do the trick they should. Fantastic service as always fro me SBS, always very helpful and make purchases easy.
