Solid racks

Not used in anger yet, but fitted to the bike. An excellent system, seem really solid, plus being removable, bike looks good without. Really easy to mount and unmount. Great service from Sportsbikeshop as usual, always my go to bike store.

I bought it as my newish R1250RS did not come with panniers and the price was just right. Solid piece of kit but only time will tell how it holds up under real-world use.

Usual Givi Quality

Usual Givi quality and the usual great service from SBS. It's not the first givi rack I have purchased and fitted to a bike and as always, quality parts, all holes lined up and very sturdy when completed. Easy to remove when not in use but in all honesty, not that noticable if left in place.

Well made and not too obtrusive even with the full frames left on the bike. The ability to remove the main parts is a bonus. The fitting instructions were poor with very small pictures and I needed to find photos on the internet to confirm how things should fit. That said, it was easy to do once I had confirmed the process although one bracket need a hole opening out to line up with the bike.

I have a R1200R naked bike that I use for touring. This rack system is well engineered as I can remove the whole system in 2 minutes to get back to the original look if I want to. Also I was afraid a removable rack could become loose but it is really solid. Time will tell

If you like the idea of the convenience of side panniers but don't like the idea of unsightly rails when the cases are not in use, then the Givi PLR and PLXR range of bike specific pannier rails are the solution for you. The rails have a quick release system so they can be removed and attached with ease leaving only the inconspicuous anchor points. Depending on the specific bike, the rails can be may or may not additionally require the Givi Monorack arms (allowing the option of adding a top box) to mount the rails.
