Hi. Is this the correct plate to fit the V56NN Maxia top box? Not being light-kit compatible, does that mean I need a different plate? Thanks

The SRA5113 is the only adapter plate that Givi list for your bike, and so you would not be able to use the light kit.

This is sold for the 1200 rt but I can confirm it does fit a 24 1250 rt. As others say, the instructions are not the best, it takes a bit of trial and error but it fits perfectly.

Bought this for new R1250RT to put on 53l trekker top box as BMW charge £900 for their box. Fits straight on bike, no extra fitting kit needed (as on tiger900).
Box clips on easily and very stable.

Well made and fits like a dream. Instructions not the clearest though, so I recommend careful study before fitting. Also, not that you need to remove the seats, BMW rack and sidebars before fitting.
Took me a couple of hours to fit, but very pleased with the result (and my Givi box fits on perfectly).

Not advertised for a 2022 model RT but installed with some imagination from the instructions which I thought came from IKea.
Look at the illustrations and visualise the parts before you start and it will all fall into place.
Good product and glad I can continue to use my old Givi top box.

Pretty underwhelmed by capacity

Review suggest Givi is top notch so bough a Givi plate and V47 box for BMW R1200RT. Plate instructions vague at best and one of the 4 pads fell off before fitting, never mind use. 6kg capacity!! Box weights 3kg before deciding what of the 10kg box capacity I should take out. Come on. Not just for storing helmet in the car park

Prompt service from Sportsbikeshop everything arrived on time and well packaged.
Only issue is with Givi, the instructions are poor, but you can work it out. Product itself is excellent though. Very well made and works with my old Maxia 52 box. Looks like it's part of the bike as well so well recommended.

I always use givi racks and topboxes as the have the quality and last a long time, I can confirm that this rack fits the new model 2021 R1250RT perfectly, and nearly matches the colour of the grab handles,which makes it look like part of the bike, well pleased with my purchase

I was surprised how good the manufacturing quality is on this Givi adaptor plate.
Clear fitting instructions were supplied and all the ancillary parts were of top quality.
Plus it was 30% less than list price.

Great product, but poor instructions

The adaptor plate is excellent. Purchase and delivery were second to none. The only downside were the instructions to fit the plate to the bike. It was all pictorial and after about an hour of trying to interpret them it was easy. Great product, great service.

Givi adaptor plate for R1250RT

Well made adaptor, looks like original equipment.
Instructions not the best but fairly easy to figure out the best way to fit the plate. Took me an hour including taking off the original plate and side handles making it much easier to fit.
Top tip: Do a dry run before tightening up the screws to ensure perfect alignment.

Fits my 2020 BMW R1250RT
Instructions are great but if you take your time with patience you will understand how it installs correctly.
Holds my GIVI NN47 monokey top box which I also purchased from Sports Bike Shop a couple of years ago and is still going strong very sturdy.
