Givi E160 Stop Light Kit

Once fitted these lights greatly increase your visibility from the rear. Take your time as the instructions are not the easiest to follow and check out YouTube for more detailed fitting instructions. As others have reported, the LED strips did not line up, so you have to peel them off and realign them. Well worth the effort though as the brightness is brilliant.

The extra brake lights are clearly a good idea if you ride through out winter.It would be nice if they were side lights as well though.
The problem is and the reason only 3 stars is that for the price it is a very average quality kit.
The LED strips don't line up correctly with the gaps in the reflective metal section of the top case. So you have to modify the mounting points or you lose half the light.
Fitting the kit in general depends on what standards your happy with. The kit comes with two cheap scotch lock connectors which went straight in the bin. I used water proof heat shrink terminals to ensure no corrosion can enter the brake light circuit which could leave you with no brake lights at all.
When you drill the 4mm holes for the LED strip lights to go into the top case there is no rubber grommet to fit so you will need some sealant to make sure the top case stays water proof. Again not difficult to do but at this price it should have something provided..
The instructions supplied are not the best but it's relatively straight forward.when you have everything in front of you.

Easy to fit into the top box, with a bit of patience. Could do with a better wire routing solution though, I had to use gaffa tape to hold them out of the way...
Do make sure you have the correct monokey mounting plate though, if there isn't a little circle next to the rear clip you will need to change it!
Once fitted the brake lights are bright and obvious, even to volvo drivers!

Easy to fit and a very good case, stop light is an optional extra but it's so cheaply made it should come as standard.

If you have the box this is a well worth investment. Must be a huge increase in your visibility to people behind you !

These are very bright and fit easily into the box, just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.
