Excellent item from Givi does exactly what you'd expect. This was a birthday present for my OH as our current box doesn't hold 2 lids but this does and you'd still have room for a bag! Super service and fast delivery as always from SBS!

Top of the range in this series…I upgraded from the V47nn. I'm definitely not disappointed, the quality of this box is second to none and has all the features and space you'll ever need! Super fast delivery from Sportsbikeshop as always. 10/10

This is a tough box, well made, easy to fit, well thought out and looks better than your Wife on the back……..

Givi quality, however the Givi rack needed has grommets on it to suppress vibration etc which are too large to enable case to be fitted without putting two tons of pressure on it. You just have to cut the grommets down on the fitting rack.

Really quality Givi top box, 56 litres but doesn't look to big on the bike, easy yo fit when you have the correct separate fitting kit. Once on it gives a nice secure sound when locked in place.

Quality product, fits 2 helmets and more, handy for touring.

Excellent product from an excellent company, Sportsbikeshop that is!! The only thing I didn't buy after reading a lot of reports was the Brake Light Kit, seemed expensive for what is was. Very pleased with my purchase.

I have such a thick skull ( it can't be brains ! ) I have to wear an XXL helmet.

I'd originally ordered a Kappa K48N, quite a bit cheaper than this. For the cash the Kappa was good. However my XXL helmet and my wife's Medium sized helmet couldn't both fit it.

I think the Givi V56 would fit a pair of Schuberth XXL C3 Pros. (I don't have two to test that !)

So I had to return the Kappa, and order one of these.

You can see the difference in build quality. It's not that the Kappa was bad, this Givi V56 Maxia was quite a bit better.

On the build quality, small things, like the lid stays up on the V56N, where as the Kappa lid kept wanting to drop down and close itself. Also there is a rubber seal on Givi V56 around the lip. No seal on the Kappa.

The locking mechanism is a bit easier to use on the Givi V56 as compared to the Kappa. The V56 has a nice pop out handle. The K48N, it does have a carrying handle, but it doesn't pop out, so is a bit more awkward to carry with.

I guess if our helmets had fitted in the Kappa K48N, I'd have kept the K48N, but you can see the difference in quality between the K48N and the Givi V56N Maxia.

Bought this to replace a similarly styled V47 which I sold with an old bike. While it is definitely large, it is not noticeably larger than the old one and the build quality is a level or two higher. The plastics appear thicker and more rigid, and the mechanism is better with a pop out handle for carrying the case. I also bought the electronic opening kit E175 which works well (though the app needs a little work). There's plenty of room for my size 13 boots, overtrousers and XXXL airbag jacket so I can leave them locked securely on the bike during the day when commuting. Recommended!
