Verified Customer Reviews for Givi E22N Monokey Cruiser Panniers (Pair)
These panniers have received mostly positive reviews from customers for their lightweight, retro look that fits well on various bike models. Many appreciate their waterproof feature, sturdy build, and good capacity for medium-length tours. They are described as good value for money, despite some issues with the locking mechanism and the plastic's susceptibility to damage. The panniers are easy to attach and remove, making them practical for everyday use and longer trips. Overall, customers recommend them for their affordability and functionality.
Not very large, but bought because they maintain the slim profile of my bike.
They fit well and securely and look great. Lockable and waterproof (so far).
Can just get a medium bag of shopping in each one.
These Givi hard panniers are light, secure and easily fitted to our Bergman 650 scoot for away days and longer. A great price from Sportsbikeshop with an excellent ordering, packaging and delivery service. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.
There are a lot of suppliers out there and I have bought many hard luggage products but Givi/Kappa are among the best, as the quality is very consistent and it always fits, without leaks, which is so important. All of that with an excellent price from Sportsbikeshop means that I will shop again!
Genuine givi panniers at a good price will be looking at sportsbikeshop again
Usual Givi quality at a great price. Not very robust but that's the trade off for light weight, Ideal for medium size bikes .
Ideal for keeping waterproofs, locking chain and puncture repair kit handy . Still room for water and snacks for days out.
Looks good on the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
These panniers are exactly the right thing for a day out where you need to store your picnic and perhaps a lock or two. 22 litres is plenty for a day out but probably not enough for a weeks camping. You can easily unclip these so swapping them out to suit your needs is very simple. The boxes themselves are well made and lightweight. I think for the money they cost, there is no better small motorcycle side case/ pannier.
This is about the 5 set of these Panniers I have fitted to different motorbikes over the past 10 years. A really good size for lightweight gear and very light. Easy to fit and remove within seconds. Good quality.
This is my 3rd set of these panniers from Givi ( different bikes) each have been superb. I've toured France with them twice, no problems. Lightweight but robust, and hold a fair amount. They suit my Bonnie T100, waterproof and retro looking. .great price too, and quick delivery, securely packaged. Bargain from Sportsbikeshop.
These panniers are ideal for medium length touring and robust enough to take any expected knocks and abuse.
Boxes feel very brittle and doesn't feel like it would take much to damage them. lock fiddly to detach boxes without opening the lid. OK if you need small boxes but do fit with a reassuring click.
Wouldn't buy again as not up to quality you expect from Givi
These suit my Bonneville perfectly not the biggest but light and looks retro on a classic. Better than OEM options waterproof and lockable
Compared to other panniers these are fantastic value and although they're lightweight they're good quality.
As others have mentioned, the option to remove them without opening them doesn't work very smoothly, so you need to open them, press the release button, then close and lift them off.
Combined with a small top-box I found they have plenty of space for touring and camping.
They look ideal on a mid-sized bike, I think they're great on my CB500X.
I purchased these panniers for my Royal Enfield Meteor 350, they are just the right size plenty of room for a weekend away.
This is the second pair I have purchased (the first pair went with bike when I part-exchanged it).
Well made, easy to take on/off the bike, have never had any water ingress. I like the fact that access is gained from the top.
The locks benefitted from a 'squirt' of lubricant.
It is easier to release them from the rack by pushing the 'lock ' through the 'open' lid, and not by the key entry area.
They (with a top-box), carried my 'stuff' around Scotland, Wales and the Peak District. I have plans for my new set....
Already had the brackets and givi top box super easy fit good for a wee tour they're not to big and hold a carrier bag full of shopping also extremely way to take off and put on at the push of a button…a bit plasticky but still brilliant value A+
Great little set of panniers. A shame they don't make something similar in 30-35L, but for small loads they do the trick. Yes they are lightweight in terms of quality/build, but the price is equally lightweight.
Rated average because the quality is not as good as the Givi E460N topcase that I have fitted. The plastic is thinner and feels less sturdy. The design of the locking mechanism to the pannier frame is poor, and pressing the lock down to release the case is difficult (compare with BMW kit).. These were the only small side cases that I could find from the Givi range. Having said that, the price is OK compared with the topcase. Good price and quick delivery from Sportsbikeshop.

Hi. Will these fit my Suzuki VL125? If not, what would you recommend in this price bracket for this bike?

April 22, 2019The only panniers that will fit the PLX174 pannier holders are the V35 or V37 cases. To fit the E22N panniers you can only use the PL174 pannier holders.

Are these panniers compatible with Givi PL202 and will the Givi PL202 fit with a Givi universal fit top box mount? Thanks
February 20, 2018The E22N panniers are compatible with the PL202 pannier cases. Givi recommend either the E213 (Monokey) or the E217 (Monolock) top plate, depending on which top box you wish to use. However, we can see no reason why the pannier holders should not work with a universal top plate.
hi i have a mt07 with i think easylock rails will these bags fit on my rails
January 17, 2018Unfortunately they will not fit - if you have Easylock rails the 3D600 Easylock side bags are your best bet. If you replaced them with the PLX2118 pannier holders, you could fit the V35 side cases.
Good Morning I would want to fit these or the Kappa version to a Kawasaki ZZR1400 2017 can you tell me the rack kit I would need please , I understand they might not list one for 2017 but what ever is closest and I will adapt from there , many thanks
November 22, 2017Unfortunately neither Givi nor Kappa manufacture pannier rails for the ZZR1400, apologies. Givi make the TE4106, but this is only for Easylock side bags or soft side bags. Givi do list PLX446 pannier holders for the 2006-2011 ZZR1400, but this will only work with the V35 Monokey cases.
