Richa Cyclone Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Black / Fluo Yellow

Second one of these jackets I have owned and really pleased with it. Great service from SBS as well.

Jacket fits perfectly but with Richa you always need a size bigger. Really snug and warm. Nice detachable thermal lining. Not used in the wet yet so can't comment if the Goretex has no leaks !

This jacket will keep you warm and dry whatever the weather throws at you. Go an extra size up when ordering and it will fit perfectly, the only bug bear really is the zip on the cuffs which keeps coming undone as the velcro does not come over this to tighten the cuffs. A decent pair of gloves will solve the problem and apart from that an excellent jacket and excellent service as always from sportsbikeshop.

The Richa Cyclone is a high quality product, well made, good fit, plenty of inside pockets and two decent size outside pockets. As its January I have not yet ridden in the jacket. I got 15% off in the winter sale. I got the xxxl which fits fine, even though the size chart would have me in a XL or XXL.
The one issue I have with the jacket is the neck fastening. It has velcro and a single press stud. everyone will have different size necks and be wearing different neck wear so the velcro makes sense. The press stud however just prevents the velco from closing properly. The press stud is not required. However dont let this put you off the jacket. The press stud position might well be ideal for most people

Had dozens of jackets over my 46 years riding and this is probably the best of the lot. Chose a size larger and fits great if not a little too much room on the chest. The neck flap is a little difficult to click into place but that is a minor issue. Well recommended.

Bought the Richa cyclone suit, first order was far too small. Sent back using the free returns and exchanged. Very easy and efficient service as usual.

Bought the very same jacket 3 years ago but a recent slide on gravel wrote the jacket off along with the trousers, Had no hesitation in ordering the same again, Warm and totally waterproof, If I'd had the extra cash I would have tried the Richa laminate jacket but I'm still happy with this purchase. Top marks to the SBS team as usual excellent service.

This is a very good all rounder that fits the bill and fits well.
Great to be seen, cosy and dry.
Only one very small criticism, the sleeve zips do not stay closed!? But a great product and great help from the guys at Sportsbikeshop.

Well made and comfortable jacket. Kept me bone dry and warm in very heavy rain and road spray, pockets stayed dry as well. In warmer weather the vents work well at keeping temp down. All in all a top quality jacket.

Jacket has a really nice luxury feel to it, I am in-between sizes, I usually take a medium, but a Richa medium is snug, not uncomfortable but will limit future layers unless it gives with time. The over all quality seems very good (but should be for £500 unless you live in a land of limitless cash), Good quality material with nice straight stitching, tailored fit and nice detailed removable liner. Down sides; I wonder if the Velcro will last on the storm flap, especially at the bottom as there is no securing snap fastener. The collar has a snap fastener and Velcro which makes little sense as it only gives one position to be able to use the fastener. My biggest gripe with the titanium coloured version which is a good colour and a step away from the traditional black "heat soaking" norm, is the front panel and detailing, Due to its colour the hi vis parts and writing blend which makes it a little boring. If the jacket is undone the black that is exposed gives it a very different look, my conclusion is that it should of had a couple of small black panels at the front to lift the look and maybe hi light the hi vis strips. These are only cosmetic issues and personal opinion. I know I may have to wash it more often to avoid looking grubby but I am hoping it is a more visible colour without looking like a traffic cone. I am looking forward to giving it a good try, if it last as long as my last coat twenty plus years which until a recent mishap was still serviceable and water tight, I will then be equally impressed. If I am able to give a review after a year of wearing it, then I may well be able to say something useful to help you decide, but by then this model will probably have changed and be of little use.
