Bought this to go over a XL size Revit textile jacket for 2 trips to Scotland in May and June. The weather was grim with torrential rain at times but the waterproof kept me 100% dry. I particularly appreciated the elasticated collar and cuffs which helped keep everything tucked in neatly and avoided any leaks.

Great fit. Practical features

Bought this as a move from one piece waterproof suits which are awkward to get on. This jacket is so much easier to put on over leathers. Some nice practical features too like Velcro tightening strips and a pull cord around the bottom of the jacket to make a snug fit over trousers. Sizing is as per your usual jacket size, so there's room to get the jacket over your leathers without having to try and increase size to allow for that

Waterproof but some quality issues

Jacket was waterproof in heavy storm but after only one ride the thin reflective strips peeled off on the sleeves. Jacket replaced with no fuss but replacement not yet tested.

Decent Waterproof Jacket

Good quality Jacket and bought matching trousers. Both good waterproofs and not let rain in. Only issue with Jacket was slightly strange zipper, which jammed. But sorted quickly by Sportsbike with a replacement.

Bright Jacket ~ Alpinestar Hurricane

Standard top quality for Alpinestar with a handy 'tube' bag for storage. A fairly light weight over jacket with a fine tooth zip. Elastic draw string bottom and velcro tabs around the waste prevent it ballooning like some jackets. Very bright with yellow top and reflective strips. Great for being seen in the rain at night.
