The screen does a basic job of allowing you to ride OK'ish at 55 to 65 mph. Your helmet doesn't suffer to much from buffering and that's sat upright on the bike. The screen to me is as ugly as hell from the front. That's why I got the light smoked model hoping it wouldn't destroy the looks of the bike. From the side it looks OK.
