Givi PL6408CAM Tubular Monokey Cam-Side Pannier Holders - Triumph Explorer 1215

Standard triumph framework supporting Treker luggage meant passenger could not get on and off bike! Replacement givi framework repositioned triumph luggage and worked a treat. Thank you givi and sports bike shop

There was a manufacturing defect with the first set of Givi Pannier Holders I received. Right hand front mount did not align with the rear foot peg bracket. Sportsbikeshop sent a replacement which was fine and a prepaid returns label for the defective part.

Pannier carriers fit well, most of the holes lined up with a little twisting, that was after working out the rear sets have to be removed and the carriers mount first then the pegs go back on with a spacer on the front bolt. Instructions didn't really explain this in my opinion.

These rails sit your panniers lower and further back than the Triumph set. They provide much more room for the pillion feet and upper legs. They are a must if you take a pillion and want to use Givi or Triumph branded panniers. You must swap the latching mechanism over from the Triumph pannier set but this is easy. They fit the Tiger 1200, 2018 and on as well as the previous Gen 2 Tiger. Easy to fit and an excellent fit.

It was prity straight forward to fit
I fitted from the pegs and working backwards.
Get everything in place then tighten it all up.
Clean your threads on the footrest brackets before you try to assemble.

Firstly, Sportsbikeshop delivered on time or ahead of prediction and acted quickly to resolve an issue I had. Great customer service.
I found the near side rack fitted my Triumph Explorer 1215 2012 perfectly but the off side rack didn't line up with the bolt holes. Ben and Martin in customer care listened, understood and helped replace the problem side only, sending out another off side rack only, before requiring the faulty one back, which was great. I was expecting to have to do a full return of everything before getting the replacement like others would have insisted on.
The replacement was also out of alignment but not as much so I was able to make it work just.
Good quality though and very sturdy.

Excellent pannier frames that lower and move panniers further back away from pillion foot pegs on Triumph Explorer XRT. This enables the pillion to climb onto the bike without the panniers obstructing pillion foot pegs.

After suffering the same complaints that other Tiger1200 riders had, in that the Triumph racks mount the panniers too high, and too far forward making it very uncomfortable for the pillion, I was told about the Givi racks.
These mount the panniers lower and further back and solve the problem instantly.
Easy to fit and usual Givi quality.

The finish on the product is very good looks like the coating will last longer than the one I took off... installation was so easy and looks good even without the panniers.

Common issue with Triumph original equipment pannier rails (to high and to far forward). These Givi rails fix that.

The pannier rails supplied by Triumph place the panniers to high and forward for a comfortable pillion position. These will drop the panniers and bring them back, just swap over the Triumph locking clamp onto the Givi one, 60 minutes max to swap over.
