We confirm that the Givi SRA5119 Monokey Aluminium Adaptor Plate is compatible with the Givi DLM30 Trekker Dolomiti Aluminium Top Case

Opps!! I just asked a question about this plate with my current top box. I have a second question. I had a look at the fitting instructions, and they say 2015, the bike I'm buying is a 2016, will this plate work on a 2016 bike?

Givi list this as fitting the 2016 model also.

I currently own a Givi V47NNTFL Monokey Top Case - 47 Litre which is fitted on my Honda NC750X. I intend to upgrade to a BMW S1000XR. if I buy this plate, will I be able to use my top box on my new bike? Cheers

I've been using Givi top box mounting systems for many years now.
Being used year round in all weather and they've always proven to be solid construction.

This aluminium plate seems equally as sturdy and should stand the test of time.

Fitting was straightforward, instructions were easy to follow.
Top box is solidly mounted.

This product was easy to fit on the BMW although when I came to fit the top box I had to remove the rubber lugs but even so it does what it's supposed to.

Givi Adaptor Plate BMW S1000XR

This is a really well made adaptor to enable carrying your Givi luggage. Made out of sturdy, thick aluminium plate which is pressed and (I assume) lazer cut, it fits perfectly and is niely finished but I have to say the price of it is ridiculous. I can see no justification for the cost being in 3 figures at all. To top it off I had a hell of a struggle forcing my top box to lock into place when previously it was no bother at all. I just hope with use it gets easier as the cushions compress.
It is a far cheaper option than swapping my current luggage for the BMW offerings though.

Good quality plate but does not foot the S1000XR 2020 as advertised - there will be a new plate but probably not until next year thanks to Covid - nothing a drill cannot fix...

Adaptor plate to allow givi monokey boxes easy to install takes a out 10 mins, you'll need a star torx to remove BMW bolts, givi supply normal Allen head bolts, lay out the spacers and bolts as some are only 5mm different , follow instructions it fits and looks good.

Givi is definitely the way to go over the M/C manufacturers luggage, as you can swap the cases from bike to bike with the relevant fitting kit. Givi in my opinion is the best luggage money can buy, excellent quality and looks nice as far as luggage goes...
This adaptation plate fitted the existing BMW rack perfectly, and is well made.
sportsbikeshop.co.uk also was a brillant service, and best price I could find.

Quality piece of kit. Really well made and great finish. Simple to fit and looks pretty decent. The Monokey fitting system means the top box fits quickly and securely, with a reassuring clunk. Definitley recommended.

I've been using givi luggage for nearly 30 years.
I had one of their aluminium top plates on my last bike and when I changed to the XR I needed this one. Easy to fit looks good on the bike and works well.
