Verified Customer Reviews for Yoshimura
Yoshimura are one of the big names in the bike industry and you can't go wrong with their products. The RS-3 is no exception. It suits the bike perfectly and sounds superb.
One issue I did find is when trying to fit the baffle (two small Allen screws) you could get one in but the other wouldn't quite line up. Ended up having to file a couple of mm off the holes to give more clearance. Not a huge undertaking but certainly not ideal on a +£300 silencer.
It's pricier than other options and you are paying for the badge. It'd be nice if they supplied it with a new gasket though.
Love this Yoshi can, perfect on Japanese bikes, expertly crafted, sounds awesome.

Questions and Answers
Hi I am just wondering what the DB noise levels are with the Tri-Oval exhaust with the baffle in and as well as out. I am thinking of purchasing one for the use on track days
August 24, 2017I have searched high and low to find an answer to your question but have found nothing definitive. Although listed as a race silencer the baffle should bring the noise level down to below the typical 105db limit (track dependant), but obviously I cannot guarantee it without hard evidence.
