Bad compatibility

You'd expect all tanklock mounts to be the same so that you can mount any of the tanklock bags to your bike. Givi decided to rotate this one 90° so that it's only compatible with two large tank bags and not the rest as they would sit sideways.

Disappointing especially since there's no real practical reason to do this. Make sure you check the bag you want to use fits.

Apart from this the quality seems to be ok and installation is simple.

Looking for a tank ring for my new Transalp online with no listing available.

Good retention.
A simple thing but guarantees proper alignment and fitment.
Should otherwise be included with appropriate Givi tank lock products as it's expensive for a plastic ring and 5 screws.

Givi flange for Africa Twin

Had to buy this flange for my new Africa Twin, but no one told me there is only one Givi tank bag (xs320) that fits the Africa Twin, so had to fork out for a new bag too as my old 'universal' Givi tank bag turned out to be not very 'universal' at all.

I've had Givi Tanklock bags for a few years now, 5 different bikes. I've got 2 tank bags and switch between them. They've never failed and stay solid whatever speed, very impressed.

Awaiting my tank bag so I can use the item. Givi are more often than not disappointing in delivery time scales. But this is not the fault of Sportsbikeshop it's Givi's poor attitude to customer updating. But as far as the lock ring I am happy.
