This will fit the race visor as long as your visor has Pinlock pins fitted. Please note the sizes - the small Pinlock insert is for XS,S,M and Large helmets. The large Pinlock insert is for XL, XXL,and XXXL helmets.

Essential piece of kit

Combined with a new visor the difference in clarity and indeed vision when driving in the rain is huge. The seal had gone on my old insert making it positively dangerous in the rain.

Quality is much better than standard one (I believe it is 30 - entry level). Hasn't given 5 stars to it because in heavy rain it will still mist a bit, not critical though.

Original on my C3 size S was lightly marked after 7 years of service and had sparklies at night along with a bit of misting, this replacement is very well made and fits perfectly, nice and clear again and no misting, easy to fit, just follow instructions, very good service from Sportsbikeshop as usual and with quick delivery.

I'd replaced my old Schuberth C3 Pro with a new one, that came with a pinlock. The problem was that the pinlock that came with the helmet didn't fit properly and moisture kept getting behind the pinlock. Despite attempts to remedy the problem nothing worked.

I saw another review on Sportsbikeshop where somebody had the same issue and had replaced their pinlock with a new one and had success so I decided to see if a replacement would work for me.

Lo and behold, a pinlock that fits and works as it should! Although, why on Earth Schuberth, (and X-Lite my second helmet that also came with a pinlock, that also didn't fit properly), can't sort this out at the factory is a mystery.

Sportbikeshop as always were top notch with a great price and great communications.

From smearing visors with washing up liquid in the 70's to prevent the dreaded fogging of visors to the ultimate in double glazed clarity this product does everything we've wished for for decades.
Pretty simple to fit to my Schubert c3pro and a massive improvement to the one fitted when I bought the helmet. Clearer vision due to size/fit.
Close your visor and off you go. JOB DONE.
