Puig Touring Screen for F800GT

The website said that the screen was for F800GT 2013 to 2016 but my bike is a 2019. Advice from Sportsbikeshop indicated that the screen would fit my bike so I went ahead with the purchase. Very pleased as the screen fits perfectly. My only complaint is that there were no fitting instructions included although I was able to find info on Youtube.

Good screen

Really easy to fit, unlike other aftermarket screens allows you to use the grommets and fixings from the original BMW screen.
My advice read how to remove to old screen either via workshop manual or online as some fixings hidden behind bike trim.
With that fitted less than 20 minutes, looks fantastic and really is a vast improvement on the BMW original, I'm a taller rider and gives great protection and less buffering. Completed a 4 hour round trip on a mixture of motorway and B roads and noticed a huge difference. Very well made product and as ever from SBS well packaged and quick delivery at a great price.

Clear Puig High Screen

Likewise, I felt that the OEM screen on my F800GT was on the low side. Searched around a bit and decided to go for a full high screen rather than a screen topper.
Delivered from stock by SBS very quickly. Price was the best I could find and there was no delivery charge. Installation was fairly straightforward, once you realise there is an extra screw and locating pin on each side , hidden by trim behind the screen.
I have had a few shortish trips and the wind pressure has now moved from my chest to the top of my safety helmet, so job is a good 'un.

It was on a bit of a learning curve replacing the original screen. It took me well over an hour removing it and fitting the new PUIG SCREEN.
In the end it was worth all the time spent as it looks as if it was an original fitment on the bike.
looking forward to the day I get to try it out on a long run.

Just the job!

I decided to replace the windscreen on my new BMW800GT as the standard screen is quite small. This touring screen from Puig is a major improvement cutting down the wind blast considerably. I bought a tinted version so it looks great too. It was relatively easy to fit but it was a little fiddly so leave a good hour for this. Looking forward to some longer distance touring once the weather gets warmer and the pandemic danger recedes.
