Works well with the trekker top box

Rated to 6kgs but matches a box rated to 10 kgs. Seems very secure and doesn't look awful when the box is removed.

A very well made and good looking top plate. A couple of the bolts securing it to me Transalp rack adaptor were a little fiddly, I don't see any way around this though. I tried my existing Givi 47 litre traditional case on the rack and it was pretty tight to secure and engage it securely in the rack, my new alloy outback top box was the same. I initially had this issue with the mounting plate on my California a while back, but after a decent period of use it started fitting just fine, so don't let this put you off.

Simple, effective top box mounting solution

It took about 20 minutes for me to mount the bracket and the Monokey plate. I must say, the quality felt brilliant, everything fitted as instructed. I'm was really keen on this so allow me to use different size top boxes and swap them out really quickly. As this was my first top box, I was confused with all the products on the market and what I had to buy other than just the top box! After figuring that out, all the parts were supplied by Sports Bike Shop, on time and a great price.

Firstly quality excellent looks great in black or Aluminium depending on bike colours off course
I have used this plate M8A / M8B for the last 7 years, Never let me down.
Construction - Solid, nothing damages this plate takes a battering in all weather conditions

Bought Givi TRK46N Trekker from you. Does this fit for my Moto guzzi v85 2022?
March 4, 2023You would need to purchase the SR8203 rear rack (quick find 501426), which will then allow the fitting of this top plate, and the TRK46N case.

February 12, 2023Unfortunately not, you would require the bike specific Givi rack to allow fitment of this to your bike.
I have a Honda NC750X fitted with Givi Outback side panniers on a PL1146 frame with a 1146 without top box fitting kit. What specific fitting kit will I need to fit the Givi M8A Monokey Aluminium Top Plate?
September 28, 2018Unfortunately Givi do not list the M8A plate as compatible for your bike, apologies. The correct rack for your bike is the 1146FZ, and you will require either the M5 or M7 top plate.
