Nice thick wooly socks that keep your feet warmer than normal socks. I suspect there are other woolly socks that work as well for a lot less money.

Warm feet but a little pricey

I've ridden in these socks in temperatures down to 4C and they've done a good job of keeping the chill at bay. They're very comfortable and the material has quite a deep pile that really cushions the soles of your feet. The socks are nice and long to keep my lower legs warm as well as my feet. The sizing seems quite generous - medium was right for my UK size 9.5 feet and would probably suit feet up to a couple of sizes larger too. The only downside is the price - the Mammoths were expensive when I bought them 4 months ago and the price has since gone up by 25%.

Poor for the price

As a massive fan of Klim gear & a cold feet sufferer I was expecting these socks to be great, initially putting them on I found the heel to be halfway up my ankle, as a size 12 this was a surprise been the upper limit of the size guide.
My first ride of about 2 hrs I found the socks to be alot cooler than my normal riding socks & the cushioning very poor. For this price I expected more from Klim, I will be sticking to my normal Bridgedale Summit for the time been. If you have never worn decent quality socks you may find these amazing, if you are accustomed to high quality hiking socks etc look elsewhere.
