Disappointing product

I purchased this rack for the KTM as I wanted to retain my keyed trekker panniers from my last ADV bike. Compared to both the Touratech rack I removed and the givi cam rack on the last bike this rack was poor finish out of the packing, dings and scratches all over and a poorly designed manor of assembly. Unclear instructions and multiple sizes and types of fittings (both Touratech and KTM fittings are all hex and torx respectively) I never fitted the Givi rail on my last bike but expected more quality for £163 from this Givi product, a shame as the boxes are great. Not an SBS issue but if I had another mounting option I would have returned them prior to fitting.

All the quality you would expect from Givi, although the instructions weren't as clear as they needed to be, I could work them out easily enough and it all went on no problem.

Quality bit of kit for 1090R

Like most of Givi products, its a well made quality bit of kit. Service of Sportsbikeshop was excellent as always.
On the fitment side, I can happily confirm that it fits 1090 Adventure R as well. However, for ease of fitment,leave all the bolts slightly loose, once all the parts on the bike go around and tighten them.
