I bought these a few weeks ago and they are very good at keeping my heavy leather touring pants up, no slippage and they hold perfect.

Clip well to very thick and heavy trousers.
It may be a needless worry, but they seem a bit elastic to be completely confident that sliding down the road won't allow trousers to slide down me. If I'm unlucky enough to test this, I'll update.

The braces I received are not very good at gripping the trousers and they are often unclipped when I get to my destination or have a coffee stop.
Not very good.
If the clips were better made or adjustable they would be more effective.
I have overcome the issue by using some extra material with the braces.

High quality kit that does exactly what it says on the tin. Lots of adjustment and wide straps that don't dig in or move about. The clips take quite some prising apart, and grip like there's no tomorrow.

They say middle age is when your broad mind and narrow waist change places. Well I'm 65 so definitely need something for my armoured leather leg ware to hold onto.
Strong, well made, with plenty of oomph, coupled with the usual excellent SBS service, seems like a good choice to me!

Supersized braces

Heavy duty braces to comfortably hold some big heavy armoured jeans up, can't fault the quality. Basically just your regular fashion ones scaled up rather than Kevlar reinforced or anything. Not quite hopeful they'd do anything spectacular in the event of a crash so you're probably still wanting to have a solution to zip into your jacket or back them up with a belt.
