Upgrade for a set of leathers

Bought to replace the level one armour in a set of Hein Gerike leathers and these are a perfect direct fit for the hip armour.
These are a lot harder than the ones they replaced as in rock solid but they soften up slightly when they get warm I'm led to believe

Very impressive armour, but which unfortunately didn't fit my Spirit Motors leathers.
Having cut them down to fit, I found that I couldn't get my leathers on.
You need to have plenty of slack for these.
My fault entirely.

Thin and flexible

Any saftey equipment is only good if you wear it and if it fits well. This flexible armor makes wearing it a no brainer. As you wear it it flexes round you which makes the fit that much better. So it is a win on both counts. Also being thiner makes you look more trim in those riding jeans - seems like a win to me!

Great quality

Great quality product. Pretty tall so only just fit in my Oxford Montreal 3 trousers but feel comfortable and look like they'll do the job. Just hope I never have to fully test them.

Thin and protective (CE level 2) but without the bulk. Fits perfectly in the hip pockets on my RST trousers. Very happy, would recommend.

So much better than my old armour

I was using Covec armour in my riding jeans which is very comfortable, but unfortunately becomes hard and brittle in the colder months and I've snapped at least one per year just from wearing them.
Decided to upgrade to something that would cope better through the lower temperatures and came across these. Tested to CE 2 T- (-10C) these should tolerate my winter commuting while remaining useful and comfortable.
They sit comfortably in my jeans, a little stiff but should break in just fine. Walking around in them feels better than the Covec I had in, so that's a bonus!
All in, so far a perfect upgrade in terms of comfort and usablilty vs Covec, hopefully I never find out what they're like in a slide, but being CE 2 they should be excellent.
As always, great service from SBS, have never had reason to fault them!

Good protector with CE level 2 standard. I was able to cut to fit the pocket precisely. this did not appear to compromise the product. a good length for good coverage of the hip.
