Perfect Pad

I bought a jacket through another site which came without the back protector. The one recommended by the other site didn't actually fit.so.this one was recommended by the supplier as an alternative. The pad is not on a perfect match but is actually more comfortable than the D30.

The pad feels sturdy and reliable. The service was brilliant with the pad arriving in two days.

I bought this product to replace a back protector in my jacket, any easy choice as I already have a full forcefield back protector. These are well made to a high specification. Once worn they mould to the rider, providing comfort , the vents keep you cool on warm day.

Old jacket now back safe

Perfect fit for my old Revit Strike leather jacket, though had to enlarge pocket access and affix velcro closer. Lot more comfortable than having the original sweaty piece of foam against my back.

Stiff but highly protective

When you first get it it's as stiff as a board and a bit awkward to install in some back pockets.
Once it's in and you ride around a bit your body heat does soften it up a bit and it's more comfortable as moulds and flexes with your back contours but it's still bulky and you're always going to know it's there. It does give you a sense of confidence though.

For me I'll use this for motorway trips and more dangerous high speed areas where max protection is king but in general I'll stick with the D30 offerings from other companies which are floppy but stiffen on impact.

Very substantial and fits the pocket in my Merlin jacket perfectly. Feels very well made of quality materials. Feels a little bulky initially but soon molds to your back.

This is such a massive improvement over the flimsy foam insert that seems to be standard.
Makes sense to get the best protection you can and this must be one of the top ones out there.

Superior protection

Superb level of protection

Forcefield protective inserts are probably the best on the market. I have personally witnessed an accident where I thought the rider would have at least a serious spinal injury, only to find later that the outcome was bruising and two cracked ribs. He was wearing a forcefield back protector, and since that time so do I in every jacket I own. Quality of construction is second to none.
