Ultimateaddons Advanced Heated Grips

Look neat and compact thanks to the integrated control rather than a separate contril unit.

Fairly easy to fit. The most time consuming part was running the cables underneath the fairings to hide them away, but that's personal choice as to how hidden you want the wiring.

Heat up reasonably quickly and are hot enough to still be wearing my summer gloves in November.

After many years of not riding, I realised I was missing out and decided to get a Vstrom while I was still able to cock a leg over a bike. Loved it all summer but as things got cooler my hands were suffering a bit, so, with a little research, opted for the Ultimate Addons premium heated grips. Dead easy to fit and wire up to the battery and boy oh boy are they good! They get that hot you've got to turn them down to the middle setting, being as how it's not that cold as yet. Thoroughly recommend these grips, so neat and tidy with the integral switch on the left grip, and a lot cheaper than the Oxford equivalents.

Usual good service from Sportsbikeshop. These grips were easy to install but I have been disappointed with the performance.
The lowest setting is quite good, but it's downhill from there. There are 5 stages of heat with no noticeable difference. The top setting is barely hotter than the lowest setting. I used them at 10c, air temperature this week and they wouldn't keep my hands warm on the highest setting.

As ever, excellent service of an excellent product, easy to fit, work really well.

I've been using R&G heated grips for many years and fitted them on several bikes for myself and my friends. I saw the ultimateaddons advertised and really liked the way they looked so I ordered a set. They are very nice quality wise and look very OEM. Slightly bigger diameter than an R&G grip but not by much. I've got quite big hands and do find the left grip a bit small due to the integrated controls. Ultimateaddons sell a 130mm version which would be a better fit for me. I didn't know this when I ordered these. Great service from Sportsbikeshop as always too.

These grips are a really good buy! The ergonomics of them is far better than the equivalent from Oxford etc who require the control box mounting on the bars. They're warm and served me well riding in sub 5degrees recently. Not sure how they could be improved. Bang on.

Very neat, work well

I bought these as I wanted the integrated button as I didn't like the Oxford unit.

After having a couple of issues getting them (my issues) they do look great and almost look factory. The positive doesn't come with a connector on so you'll need to find and fit one of you want to fit it to the battery as I have.

Thought I try these as the Oxford grips on my previous bike were a bit uneven heat wise the left was a bit cooler than the right. Straight forward to fit and work well.

I picked these grips because of the built in control. They fitted really easily and seem good quality.They take a few mins to get to full temperature and are very hot on the high setting. Would definitely buy again as they have made riding in low temperatures much more pleasant. So much better than using thick winter gloves .

Very good heated grips. Heat up quickly. Can accidentally change settings sometimes if positioned too near indicator switch, just remember to turn grip switch away from indicator switch when fitting.

First of all I purchased these because they don't have the external controller like the oxfords. From my point of view they look great, have a nice soft rubber compound and are super easy to install (a little tough to slide onto bars but a little persuasion and they went right on). Id like to address a downside to these, as another has mentioned the heat output isn't great. on the lower modes they may as well not be on at all. Those that are used to scorching hot OEM grips (i.e bmw GS) may find these lacking. That said they certainly can be felt even through even thick winter gloves and do the job.

Excellent grips. Installation easy as my bike has an accessory terminal under saddle. When fitted they look really neat as if they were put there during manufacture. Materials are of good quality too.

Excellent quality and so easy to fit. They keep my hands really warm when needed. I would recommend them.
