Haven't had to use them so I can only comment on the installation which was quite easy. As long as you have the right allen key and a torque wrench.

I've not had to rely upon/use them and I'm hoping I never have to but they look great; considering what their job is. They feel weighty and solid - as with all R&G products the fitment and quality is great.

High quality as expected from R&G. I spend a lot of time looking at different options to protect my Honda CB650F. Finaly desided on R&G and I don't regret. These crash protectors are easy to install and fit very well in the look of the bike. Highly recommend.

Extremely well engineered crash bungs

My son-in-law, a car designer, saw these and commented how well made they were. They are very strong with high tensile bolts for fixing. Will suit any bike as they are black and not too intrusive. Look good on my CB650f. Will protect my small fairings and engine in the event of a fall. Well worth the money.

Short version...I was cut off at a junction (as a biker we must never assume people check mirrors so in that sense it was my fault) and the bike hit the car and then the ground taking me with it. I was completely unscathed and unhurt (full armour) and the bike, no word of a lie, no scratches, no dents, nothing at all. The bungs took the full force, actually bent slightly which shows how hard the bike hit the ground but here you are. Get these, they saved me a fortune. And I hope they don't save you one the same way but protect yourselves on every ride and protect your bike! (Note this happened 5 days after I fitted them on). Stay safe everyone.

Do you know if these will fit the new CB650R?. I believe the F and R are identical in a lot of areas.
