The shell of the new SCHUBERTH J2 is produced using the patented Direct Fibre Processing technology and reinforced with carbon fibre. The fibreglass fabric combined with a special resin is compressed in a vacuum at high pressure to form an exceptionally sturdy yet uniquely light helmet shell. This advanced technology enables the J2 to achieve remarkable shock absorption in a compact and lightweight design.
The J2 comes equipped with a removable chin bar, the only one of its kind. The low-profile design of the chin bar has been developed to offer additional protection without affecting the aeroacoustics and aerodynamics performances. Whether on your daily commutes or your weekend trips, the J2 provides the flexibility to adapt. Attach the chin bar for additional chin protection, or remove it to enjoy the freedom of an open-face helmet.
The visor of the J2 has been designed to optimize both aerodynamic and aeroacoustics performances. A double line of turbolators positioned on the top and the bottom of the visor effectively reduces wind turbulence, ensuring a quiet ride every time. An outstanding noise level of just 88 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike, making the J2 the quietest open face helmets on the market.
