Verified Customer Reviews for Oxford Junction Box
In all honesty I'd have preferred a HealTech Thunderbox as its a far superior piece of kit . However I bought three of these for the price of one thunderbox, so far so good. It makes life less cluttered and as the battery on my Ducati GT1000 is a bitch to get to,makes adding accessories straight forward. Two more bikes to do. It's a good alternative.
Easy to instal and makes your wiring a lot neater, reasonable price and quick Delivery
I thought this was simple install but involves splicing into live wire as well as attaching to both battery terminals. I have now bought more expensive thunderbox that is very easy to instal and is truly plug and play. Also smaller so easier to fit under bike seat.
Excellent build quality. Very easy to install. Works a treat. When connected, it doesn't allow my aftermarket fog lights to work until the engine is on (which is when the Oxford Junction Box powers up). Has 4 terminals for further items to be connected. Fantastic product. Small enough to easily hide away under seat.

Questions and Answers
If this is connected direct to the battery does this device detect when the battery is charging and then supply power or will it simply provide power unless the third wire is connected to a trigger wire?
January 2, 2025Oxford Products have confirmed that you will need to attach the trigger wire to a switched live feed for the fused junction box to work.
If a cable positive live direct to the battery while removing the GPS when not running. Will the LEDs flatten my battery or should it be ok wired direct? Thanks
December 23, 2024This product makes it very easy for you to connect up to 4 electronic devices (4 x 5Amp) to your motorcycle without the need to search for a suitable switched live feed each time or attaching multiple ring leads to your battery. Connect directly to the battery, and one trigger wire connects to any live ignition feed. The benefit of taking power directly from the battery is that the vehicle's original wiring is not affected or overloaded. CANBUS systems monitor all wiring and this hub prevents any issues. Each connection port is live when the ignition of the motorcycle is switched on, meaning that you will never suffer a flat battery. Each port is protected with a 5 Amp replaceable fuse and if the device uses less power an alternative 3 Amp and 2 Amp fuse is provided. In normal operation, a blue LED light on each output port shows that the power is passing through normally. If a fuse has blown, the LED will light up red as a warning.
Can I go higher than the 5 amp fuse?
December 11, 2024Unfortunately not, the max is 5amp.
The unit with its connections does not look waterproof, am I correct?
December 4, 2024Oxford are not listing this product being waterproof.
