The fit is excellent and it's quiet, not a lot of wind noise. The new clips on the chin bar are vastly better than the old press studs. The helmet screams quality, everything fits just right. All smothered in glorious, deep, rich shiny paint. Downsides, very few. The main one is the visor whistles when closed. I would expect this to improve as the seals bed in.
Roof are doing something right, as this is a repeat purchase.

Roof helmets are like marmite, love em or hate em. This new Boxxer is even better with intercom friendly inserts & lockable open chin guard. At 1.6kg this is a light modular helmet, and it's quiet too. The price is fantastic, and the delivery? I ordered it at 16:20 & it arrived next day at 7:40. Superb service.

Cool, quality helmet

This is my 2nd Boxxer, love it. Fits my head perfectly, flip up very practical, vents are great. Went for white this time, 1st one was matt grey, looks very retro cool & bright, better to be seen! Lightweight and not restrictive, never feel the need to take it off after 100 miles like I did with previous helmets.

The design of the Roof Boxxer 2 evolves towards tighter lines while retaining the iconic look of the original Boxxer and offers a new design with 5 optimized EPS densities, a know-how already used on our range of full-face motorcycle helmets.
An exclusive system patented by Roof to meet the new ECE 22.06 standard, the FleXLocker allows the chin bar to lock in the open position and integrates perfectly and aesthetically into the versatility of the helmet in open or closed position. The automatic locking of the chinbar and the one-handed sequential unlocking ensures fast and simple gesture while easily being able to maintain control of the bike.
The Roof Boxxer 2 offers a premium fibreglass shell and lightweight comfort fabric combined with cutting-edge technologies: reversible lip seal, high-end comfort with Silent Lining and active and passive defogging.
The adaptability and customization of the comfort are ensured by cheek pads of different thicknesses (sold separately), but also by a clever and innovative system of additional foams (delivered as standard) in the lateral pockets inside the inner lining.
