Got the unit on time as promised great unit works well and radio very good battery life a bit short not sure why but all round value for money
Surprisingly decent sound quality. Bluetooth goes out of range of other riders at a few hundred metres so I still have to keep up haha. Phonecalls and music sound pretty good in the lid! Have not used the radio. For the price it's 5/5

Easy to fit in the helmet, fairly comprehensive instructions supplied. Sound quality is okay not the best but taken into account the price it is acceptable. Radio reception is not good, in fact only found one station, but that is not important to me as I don't listen to the radio.

Works well and is well made. Loud (I can actually hear it with ear plugs). Needed to print full instructions for multi pairing, which are really useful.

Great product and easy to install. I have a shark helmet and the speakers are spot on size wise to go in the pre cut holes. I used the spacer foam pads on the outside of the speakers to try and give the sound a bit more bass and this has helped but still a bit tinny for my liking. Works well and if you are riding with lots of others we used Discord so no matter how many riders or the range you are apart signal is based on internet data so full coverage in almost all places. And it is free to all Best option

Really nice bit of kit, the speakers are nice and clear, and its easy to install, phone calls are clear. down side is you need to be in intercom mode to talk and it doesn't stop your music when a person speaks. otherwise I'm really pleased with it.

Does it come with a sticky pad that fits to the side of helmet and you can remove main control from?
March 14, 2023Yes, the product includes a glued surface mounting plate which can be stuck to the side of your helmet. The main unit can then attach to this mounting plate and be detached when required.

Is it compatible with HJC RPHA-70 helmet?
September 14, 2018Being a universal fit, the SMH5 should be suitable for the RPHA-70. A wired microphone is supplied with the intercom.
Is this intercom system compatible with a Shoei XR1100 helmet

Just purchased a shark carbon helmet from you and want an intercom system . Do senna do a shark helmet system to fit ? I have seen sharktooth but mates got different systems and sharktooth not comparable . Many thanks
January 15, 2018Unfortunately Sena do not make a system specifically for Shark helmets, and so you would need to use a universal system such as the SMH-5.
