I have been looking at this bag for a couple of years but have been using a Q Bag backpack. The backpack finally needed replacing so I thought I'd get the Kriega Sling Shoulder bag. It has not disappointed! Looks good and well made as you'd expect from Kriega. It gets a 4 though because it would be perfect if it was 5-10% bigger! Service from SBS is outstanding as always.

I ride purely for enjoyment and was looking for a small waterproof and stylish bag to hold a decent sized lock, tyre plug kit and the usual bits and bobs we carry, which this bag easily swallows. This bag is superb for what I need, I wear it over my left shoulder without the waist strap. Have not experienced any lifting at speed as some people report, but then again I do ride a Moto Guzzi V7 not a sport bike so I am almost fully upright. I already own a US-5 tail bag, which when fitted together gives you a surprisingly large amount of storage, although I would use the waist strap with both full to help with the extra weight. The quality is the usual Kriega quality couldn't find any fault at all.

I bought this bag for day to day commuting.
The quality of this product shines through, you definitely need to attach the waist band as the bag lifts off your back at speed.
This is my second kreiga bag as I own the R30 for touring, I can't recommend their products enough, fantastic quality, fair price and is fully waterproof.
Sportsbikeshop yet again had the best price and delivered the bag in good time.
Don't mess about, buy this bag you won't be disappointed.

Smaller than your typical backpack, perfect to carry those few small items you need at all times. Definitely waterproof.

I have many Kriega products and they are all excellent. I bought Sling to ride a bike when I did not use R30 backpack and it turned out to be great. Excellent quality, excellent regulation. Excellent.

Carnivorous little bag, looks are deceiving, as kit keeps disappearing into yet remains room for more!

The quality is outstanding. Ten year warranty properly last twice that simply the best. I bought the messenger bag to take on holiday not on a bike but saw it as a duel role bag for everyday use and of course use on the bike. It is the right size not to bulky fits the usual camera sunglasses passports wallet suncream water etc etc. There is plenty of room no problem even the wife likes it. The bonus is its 100% waterproof easy to use and you don't have to take it off like a conventional rucksack. The messenger is a genuine everyday bag which is nice .
The wide shoulder strap sits comfortably for all day use. As for the Kreiga brand I don't look anywhere else I'm never disappointed. Sportsbikeshop as always great people to deal with 100% satisfaction .

I finding this bag really good. I don't carry tonnes with me, either to work or knocking around, so the size works really well for me. It's about the size of a phone book, so fairly neat to wear. For work, I have my Surface 3 tablet, an A4 notebook, some papers etc, some lunch and maybe a rain jacket. The main compartment with the roll top is actually dead easy to use (I considered the non roll top version but am now really glad I went for the original 100% waterproof version). The front pocket is good for quick access and I keep keys, pens, memory sticks etc in the flap pocket. The US5 works well on days where I have more stuff to bring. The strap takes a bit of 'breaking in' and the fastener takes a bit of getting used to, but once set up correctly the bag is solid in my centre back. I haven't needed to use the extra waist strap, which keeps thing simpler when taking the bag on and off. I hummed and hawed a bit on this purchase as I'm not loaded, but I'm glad now as I feel I got value ultimately. Kriega really is quality, not hype.

The bag is excellent quality and easy of use, but the length of the strap not long enough (for a large chest).

...then you should consider this one. Quality as good as any other Kriega product I know. The only slight disadvantage is that the shoulder strap sometimes moves to the neck that's why just 4 stars.

Great quality bit of kit..great fit, credible alternative to a backpack. Perfect size for carrying essentials..will be getting the US5 to add more carrying capacity when required..believe what everyone says..this kit is top..you won't find better..
