Surprisingly simple and effective

On the whole a great purchase that I'm pleased I made. Sportsbikeshop excellent, fast, service and best price I could find on the internet.
Things I liked...
+ Easy to fit (Yam Tracer 900 (2016) and remove when you don't want the builders scaffolding look.
+ Works with or without the top-box plate (No problem with this at all).
+Powder coated looks the part on adventure style - so it can stay on the bike.
Could improve...
-Security...easy to remove by thieving....A proper barrel lock (not padlock) would be useful.
-Powder coat not top quality - advise use a secondary coat (ACF 50) if using in road-salt environment
-Tube steel is quite bulky looking - but finish of components is good.

Easy fit

So easy to fit it only took one hour and that was taking it slow and steady so that I didn't use the wrong bolts or washers. Instructions include what to use if you have the top box mount fitted, which I had.
Givi really know their stuff. AND excellent as always.

Easy enough to fit

The system is great and easy enough to fit and I liked the simple method that allows the racks to be clicked on and off the bike. However on a recent ride one of the locking bolts worked loose and I lost it. I can no longer use the racks or panniers. Hoping that Sportsbikeshop can get me another bolt, will locktite them in in future.

Really easy to fit system and can be taken off the bike in seconds with try key but also locked on with padlock too. Excellent fit and Trekker panniers snap on in seconds. No effect on bike performance and again Sportsbikeshop service is quality.

They fit really well and the fact they can be removed in about 1 minute with the special tool is good. Powder black finish complements the bike and doesn't stand out.

If you like the idea of the convenience of side panniers but don't like the idea of unsightly rails when the cases are not in use, then the Givi PLR and PLXR range of bike specific pannier rails are the solution for you. The rails have a quick release system so they can be removed and attached with ease leaving only the inconspicuous anchor points. Depending on the specific bike, the rails can be may or may not additionally require the Givi Monorack arms (allowing the option of adding a top box) to mount the rails.

Will this fit a Yamaha MT-09 ABS 2017
September 24, 2018These will not fit the MT-09. Unfortunately Givi do not make a pannier holders for hard panniers for this model. They list the TST2132 holders that can only be used with the ST604 Multilock thermoformed panniers. If mounting without the 2132FZ rack, you would also need to use the IN2132KIT. The indicators would need to be moved form their original position.
