Surprisingly impressed

Even though my GT air had an internal sun visor I felt I needed something more than the clear visor that it came with as the brightness still dazzles under the internal when the sun reflects up from the bike.
I have always bought dark smoke visors for my helmets but with the Cheshire & NW police clamping down on dark visors & testing then at the roadside I decided to get this light smoke visors as it's road legal.
Initially I thought it wouldn't be as good as a dark smoke but I think it's better.
It cuts the dazzle that I mentioned earlier. It's also great without the internal visor but excellent with it on bright sunny days.
I have also used it on a dull rainy day & it works fine. It also cut the dazzle from car headlights.
I'd also be confident using this at night. I highly recommend this visor for your GT air

These are expensive visors but they are optically very good, don't scratch and work well with a pinlock. Usual great service from SBS who price matched and delivered promptly and well packaged.

I was worried that the smoked verison would be too dark in the night, but its actually very light. It just takes take edge of the daytime brightness and at night, reduces glare. absolutley fine to use all day and night

I had read others say it was quite a light tint, but as the helmet has an internal sun visor I thought this wouldn't be an issue as the two combined would make for a dark tint if needed on really bright days, however I wasn't quite prepared for how light it is. It's really only just off being a clear visor and you could easily use at night with no issues it's so faint.

I came close to returning this item as am pretty disappointed, but as I wanted a spare visor anyway I thought this would be good to keep and I didn't want to go for the non-road legal dark tint. If I had been in a shop and had a chance to look at this I wouldn't have considered buying.

High Shoei quality as expected. The mellow smoke combines nicely with the integrated sun visor - however for my taste it could be just a touch darker.
Service from Sportsbikeshop is without question the best - fast, easy on very competitive prices.

Ok but doesn't always lock

Bought this to swap with my clear visor on the sunniest of days. Visor seems well made, but unlike my original clear visor, this doesn't always click / lock - sometimes need to open visor and wiggle and then close it and it will lock. Seems like something isn't quite right - swapped back to clear visor and it locks shut every time.. Smoke level is subtle but takes the glare off the road / surroundings. Not seen any issues of colours being transposed, so all good in that respect.

Easy fit following the instructions and works well in all conditions. Bit weird how some traffic lights turn from a green to a blue but getting used to that, importantly the red remain red !! :)
